Jungkook makes sure his date is comfortable and impressed by all the things he prepared for him, from breakfast to snack and later for the lunch. Taehyung being timid all this time, he seems not impressed at all thinking about all the things he read about the man in front of him

He handed him again a bouquet of sunflowers that seemed to make him smile a little, Jungkook sees how he smiles for the flowers just by caressing their petals. Taehyung stares at them for a while then gets back to look at the CEO

He wants to ask a lot of things it seems that is the agenda of this meeting

"Mr. Kim..."
He hands him a chocolate drink but Taehyung just looks at it. Jungkook put it down on the table

"What's wrong?"

Jungkook asked after he saw the corner of his lips raised disliking the drink he offered

"I'm not into chocolate drink.. I prefer coffee instead"

He pushes the cup lightly away and that surprises him. He likes coffee? That's definitely new. Taehyung doesn't like coffee, he hates the bitter small beans, even the smell of it and all the drinks that has with it but now.. Taehyung looks at his mug like his asking the same drink

The waiter that is assigned to serve them being alert takes away the cup of chocolate and put it on a tray to take away to the kitchen

"I'm sorry... I.. i didn't know you doesn't like it"

"That's okay.. I used to like it but not anymore"

Jungkook sits beside him but doesn't like how far he is from him, he pull his chair to be just by his side

"May I know the reasons"

"Nothing special... I.. I just didn't like the sweetness and, well I'm not sure, you may laugh at the reason"

"No, tell me.. i want to know"
He encourages him, because the Taehyung he knew likes chocolate more than any drink

"well, I have this...this Ex"
He takes a breath

"and he's not fond of it, but I love it very much then at one point I'm so craving to have a taste and asked him to buy something for me but he's so busy that he forgot to get some before.. before we meet that night... and he shouts at me, telling me to buy it myself if I really want it.. i.. i just want him to have it for me but... Yeah, maybe he's not in the mood, you know, to.. to get and, you know.. he's busy and I'm disturbing him at some point and he burst and snaps at me so...since then I, I don't like it anymore, even if it's liquid or bar or anything"

He giggles awkwardly inspecting that he will laugh with him but Jungkook stares at him lovingly. Even he has his eyes moistened

He hesitantly hold his hand thinking he pull back again like earlier but this time Taehyung let him

Jungkook doesn't know if he's the one he's talking about in his past. He just remembered that once Taehyung asked him to buy chocolates for him but his day was so busy and forgot to get it for him and when they met in that evening, Taehyung was excited to be with him and have a taste of that candy but instead of saying sorry he snapped at him saying the same thing

Tear roll down his cheeks, Taehyung widen his eyes and wipes it

"Are you okay Mr. Jeon.. you seem emotional today"

"Yeah... I'm.. I'm fine"
He wipes his other cheeks but couldn't stop and look down on their hands. He wanted to say sorry.. he closes his eyes but more tears flows. Taehyung get a tissue and damp it on his face

"I think you're not okay.. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to.. I don't even know you will cry about my silly story"

"no.. don't say that.. it's not silly. Those memories of yours are important. They are not silly, they are not ridiculous.. I'm sorry if you feel that way, that you make it hate the chocolate itself.. I... I didn't know.. I'm sorry for not, not treating you way more you deserve"
He sniff resisting to look like a cry baby infront of him but it's too late for that now
