Bubbles birthday was coming up. Oh boy! O/N didn't know what to get them. ' A book? No, it had sharp edges. What if she accidentally pops herself with it?. Aloe vera? Maybe not, she probably already has alot of it .. ' O/N thought to themselves. They were spacing out in the green grassland, thinking of what to gift their bubbly friend. They kept thinking and thinking. Nothing appropriate came to mind! One thing either seems like Bubble already has it or it's dangerous for her. That's when O/N remembered something.
Flashback ;
' Oih .. Weoll, I don't know what caoke to buy! No stoire nearboi sells strawberry coike that tastes goide! '

Huh. That could work! O/N could bake a cake for Bubble! But one minor issue .. O/N doesnt even know HOW to bake a cake. You can't bake a perfect cake without any knowledge on how to! Oh well, O/N was just gonna have to speedrun watching ten cake baking videos and pray that they retain all that information and create a cake that looks like it came from Gordon Ramsay himself!
O/N stood up, running over to their house. Time wasn't gonna wait for O/N, so they needed to learn and bake FAST. learning it will probably take about thirty minutes, baking the cake itself will take longer - according to what O/N heard from google anyways. As they make it to their house, they slammed the door, making it to their kitchen. They sat down on the stool, whipping out their EPICCC ipad to put up the tutorials. They learned and .. Fuck they forgot what the hell the lady just said 5 seconds ago
.. This is gonna take a while. An HOUR had passed, O/N has learned how to bake a cake! Now comes to making the ACTUAL cake. Fuck. First attempt was a failure. Second attempt was a failure as well. It was failure after failure and after failure, until FINALLY ..
.. It was done. One damn simple strawberry cake was made. Now! Onto decorating! Decorating was .. A gamble. O/N could ruin the cake OR make it very pretty, and O/N took that risk. But they did a pretty damn good job on decorating the cake without any fuck ups. Now to wait for the next day. They carefully put the cake in the fridge, and headed to sleep until tommorow.
Yawn, what a bright new day! It's Bubbles birthday! O/N yawned, hopping off their bed. They check their phone .. OH MY GOD . O/N OVERSLEPT. 3:37 PM.. Bubble said her party was at 2 PM!. O/N jolted awake upon realization, rushing to the kitchen to grab the cake and put it in a box. Once finished, they ran out of their home to go to Bubbles home. They knocked on the door.
" Bubble! Bubble! I am SO SORRY I'M LATE! I overslept! " O/N kept knocking, until the door opened. " Oih! Hey O/N! Oits okay! I know yoi like to oversleep. " Bubble chuckled, welcoming O/N in. It seemed like the party had ended. Damn. " Where is everyone? I'm only an hour late, i kind of expected everyone to still be here .. I dunno, playing games? " O/N questioned. " Oh! Thoiy had something to do, so all of thoim left teoin minutes ago! " Bubble answered, smiling. " Oh . " O/N frowned.
" But thanks stoill for showing up! OI'm still free today if yoi wanna hangout! " " I would love to, hopefully that would make up for missing your birthday. I am deeply, so, SO sorry still. " O/N apologized once more. " Its oikay! By the way, what's thois? " Bubble grabbed the box, O/N smiled as Bubble did. " Open it. "
As Bubble opened the box, she gasped. " YOI GOT ME A CAKE??? Yoi didoint have toi! " " Well, i heard you couldn't find any good strawberry cakes to buy .. So i baked one myself. I hope you like it. " O/N nervously said. Bubble set it on the table, taking a knife to cut it. " Ah! Let me do that. " O/N insisted, taking the knife from her as they cut the cake for Bubble, setting it on those golden paper plates you'd usually see at birthday parties. Funny, there were paper plates set up but there wasn't a cake before O/N arrived. " Thank yoi! " Bubble took the cake and a fork, slicing a tiny piece off and taking a bite of it. Her eyes widen, taking another bite.
" O/N! Thois is the BEST coike ever! " " You .. You really think so? I mean, if you're saying that just because I'm your friend, you can be honest to me! I did search up 23 tutorials to make this. " " Noi! It's actually amazoing! Thank yoi soi moich! " Bubble set the plate down, hugging O/N. O/N smiled, hugging back gently.
