🎶 There's things I wanna say to you
But I'll just let you live,
Like if you hold me without hurting me
You'll be the first who ever did,
There's things I wanna talk about
But better not to give,
But if you hold me without hurting me
You'll be the first who ever did 🎶

"Mumma, Mumma"

A six years old Anaya came running to her parents' room, holding a doll in her hands.

She saw her mother, who was knitting sitting in the balcony of her room but turns her face to her when she saw Anaya

"Yes Ana, what happened baby" She asks, smiling lovingly at her daughter

Little Anaya pouts clutching the doll to her chest tightly "I'm hungry"

Her mother chuckles at her "Ok, so what my princess want to eat?" She asks, keeping the needles and yarn aside

"Aloo ke paranthe" Anaya says flashing her small teeth

"Aloo ke paranthe?" Her mother laughs softly at her demand which she never got from her before "Since when did you start eating Aloo ke paranthe, my little girl?" She says wriggling her brows at her

"I saw a video on papa's phone. Its tasty. I want to eat it too" Little Anaya replies dreamily, looking at her mother with those big doe eyes

"Hm, so if my princess wants it then how can i refuse it" She says caressing her cheeks affectionately "Let's go and make Aloo ke paranthe for you" She gets up, cradling her one hand under her baby bump while extending another hand to her and little Anaya grins excitedly holding her mother's hand

They move out of the room and her mother sat her on the dinning table just outside the kitchen "You won't come into the kitchen until i finish, okay?" She instructs and Anaya nods smiling "Okay mumma"

Kissing her forehead, she gets into the kitchen and begins to prepare the dish.

Anaya too gets busy playing with her doll but she keeps glancing at her mother in the kitchen. When she got bored playing with her doll she moves to the kitchen

"Mumma rats are running in my stomach" Anaya whines in her baby voice

"Baby, just five minutes, it's almost done" Her mother turns around and smiles at her "You go and sit on the table" She says but Anaya shakes her head "I want to watch you cooking" She demands

"Fine but don't move, just stay in your place" She says and Anaya nods

But being a kid, how could she sit quietly in the same spot? she tries to touch the things and keeps questioning her mother, she runs here and there out of curiosity to see how her mother is preparing Aloo ke paranthe.

"Ana, don't move" Her mother says in a slight strict tone and she giggles

She moves near the Stove and holds the counter's edges as she tries to look inside the pan

"Ana baby go and sit there, let mumma do her work please" Her mother says, keeping her away from the stove

"Mumma let me see" Anaya protests to not to move and her hand touches the handle of the pan and it drops on her.

Little Anaya screams as she feels a burning pain in her hand

"Oh my god, Ana, baby" Her mother quickly picks her up and rushes to the sink with her in her arms but meanwhile the pallu of her saree catch the flames, as in hurry she forgot to turn off the stove
