Trinat and Yos

When Trinat woke up, he felt something light and small fall off his shoulder and land on the floor—except for that, there seemed to be silence and quietness everywhere: both inside and outside their small, even tiny room—room with no windows this time to see if it was his second and last-in-his-lifetime weekend or not yet...

Trinat looked around for any clues, but he was all alone: there was no sign of Yos whatsoever, as if he'd never even been here—that made Trinat uneasy: his body felt like being to about achingly break down, it craved for Yos to be at least near—ideally, in Trinat's arms, forever... He couldn't stand the state he was in: standing up, but having his head spin, spiral around as if he'd drunken for the first time the last night—and obviously, emptied too many mugs for his first time... Trinat made it to at least hobble to the door, that was just a few steps away from him, and tried to knock...

After the fifth time, someone knocked back once and Trinat heard the door being unlocked and hobbled a step back: there was obviously Yos standing in the doorway—and Trinat threw his arms around his neck without even thinking, kissing him on the nearest cheek, still so badly it made Yos chuckle and he pushed Trinat into the room: pinning him down to the sofa, kissing him on the mouth, once, twice, three times... Standing on his fours over him, sitting down, bringing him nearer, even nearer, wrapping his arms around, hugging him... Occasionally kissing the sides of his neck with his tongue slightly touching Trinat's shell, but still hitting him really deep and cold—it made creeps dance down Trinat's spine and feel his shell destabilize a little, but Trinat didn't care: he wasn't alone anymore, he was with the one who treated him for who he really was: a hopeless goofball... What a chief police officer he even was? Why the humans who modeled him didn't model his character to fit into the standards of his position as well? They could do that, they sure could—but didn't for some reason, making him suffer his entire life

He wouldn't have met Goe otherwise of course—but even his best friend always kept a distance from him because of his position, he understood that a while back and it didn't change for that little while that had passed unfortunately; Trinat needed only Yos—who Trinat was to leave, abandon him now: now that his body was breaking in halves without him—ugh, if it wasn't for his position, he would've met him much, much earlier—and Yos was to lose his status of a hybrid-serving AI pretty soon and they again would part away... Ugh, it was a dead end: they both did the jobs they weren't made for—and they both couldn't escape: Trinat because of his duty; Yos because of the promise for a better future... Was there any future now though with no peace at all? And what escape there was for them? The only escape was to either be deleted or to join the bomb gang: and get their data out of any data base available to both humans and AIs—!

"Yos, Yos!" Trinat screamed in realization, shaking poor Yos, who was just getting the hang of him, pulling away reluctantly. "Yea, tiger?" Yos only yawned, hiding his mouth with his palm. "Yo hungry?"

"And yo didn't get enough sleep?" Trinat asked demandingly, but worriedly, getting Yos' hand from his own mouth, looking right into his bright amber eyes—and somehow already knowing that he'd say, "Ah... I ain't usually get enough sleep at nights—entertainin' clients like ya da entire night lon'... Ah get some sleep in da mornin' when nobody ain't around yet"

"You must sleep now then!" Trinat shouted preoccupiedly, searching with his head in all directions for at least something that resembled a recharger, but failed to see anything, only hearing Yos whisper, "Don't you worry, sweetheart: it's—"

"Under the sofa..." did Trinat strangely finish Yos's replica and got off on the floor. "Did you have breakfast at least?"

"Well ,y-yeah... I don't remember: most likely ,y-yeah..."
