What do you mean there's another car crash nearby?!

Trinat couldn't help yelling when he heard the System Voice say the latest news

"What's the matter, Boss...?" did Goe step in, preoccupied, while they still were making a report on the previous accident

Trinat took a deep breath and signed, slowly turning to his partner: lo ciste kurji cu cusku se lo du'u le snuti poi ragve lo tcadu mo'u cu fasnu kei ku1

Goe wanted to sit down so badly when he heard it, but unfortunately, he was out of the car and the only opened door was blocked by Trinat, who still was shocked and red mad at what he'd just heard

mi'o ba zukte ma doi lo jatna2
asked Goe, looking at the two casualties swearing at each
other: the cause of the crash wasn't still determined

mi klacpe lo za'u pulji poi drata gi'e klama tu ka'ai lo bende .i .o'e do stali ti gi'e sisti lo datnynoi3
said Trinat now with a firm voice and looked into his partner's face

A terror was clear in Goe's eyes no matter how calm he forced his lips and eyelids seem to be—and Trinat abruptly put a hand on his friend's shoulder and said: mi birti lo nu do ba snada4

He smiled and grabbed on tighter at Goe's shoulder—Goe looked at this shoulder of his as if he suddenly remembered something—and a few seconds later, he was already looking back at Trinat, his eyes composed and determined; Goe nodded and Trinat let go of his shoulder and got into the car while Goe went back to the causalities

Just like at the day we met... thought Trinat to himself as he told the dispatcher, as the police officers called it between themselves, or System Voice, which really helped them watch over the order here and Trinat was sure in other cities, too: it was a complex system which covered all the cities and towns of the entire Federation after all—He was so terrified... As if he remembered that day... The day of that catastrophe, that bombing: the day we met...

Trinat started the car and the dispatcher built the route to the destination for him, but he wasn't really following, allowing the car to go on the autopilot system of the dispatcher, himself lost in thought, "He was holding on so tightly into my shoulder back then... when I was taking him out of that fallen down building... Was I grabbing on to him so tight as he was...?"

His blue car skipped the red light on the intersection, covering passers-by with its own, and moved on, "I must've been terrified, just like him—or even more... That was the first time that terroristic group—that bomb gang—attacked with such a force both the small town nearby and even the suburbs of the capital were standing in ruins...!"

His hands were slightly shaking on the wheel as he remembered all that, but he tried to calm himself down, taking one breath after another and paying more attention to the traffic this time. When he finally arrived, a group of familiar blue cars was already surrounding the crash site, red light spread on to both it and them. Having heard the firm and dry steps they all knew too well, the group straightened up and fell silent as Trinat asked about the details of the accident. The senior officer stepped out and told him in a command voice that all the casualties couldn't tell what happened: their transport devices just went out of control for some reason and so, they crashed

Trinat threw a thoughtful and at the same time confused gaze around the crash site and said: le catlu pe le certu cu se nitcu .i .o'e klacpe lo briju poi ralju5

As he was saying that, there was another call from the System and a junior officer stepped out and said: doi le iolna xu do e'ande mi le ka cusku fi do fe lo notci poi cnino be lo ciste kurji ku6

.e'a ko cusku lo notci ku7

lo snuti poi cnino ku mo'u cu fasnu8

The moment Trinat was about to open his lips to say at least something—there was heard a series of loud crash sounds all around the Capital: and the masses were already yelling in panic, running, stumbling, stepping upon each other—Trinat's heart sank at the burdensome thought of his friend, but he put himself together and told his officers, so firmly as ever, to lead everyone to the city's suburbs: the bomb gang struck again—and no one knew what they were up to this time...
