Thank you for starting this. This novel is actually a revision of my first novel, initially in a fanfiction setting, but considering the uniqueness of the characters, I decided to rewrite it and took the opportunity to improve the storyline. Now classified under general fiction, with characters and setting all completely mine, products of fiction or real-life settings like New York City etc.
As hinted already by the tags, this book is a dark-themed work but that doesn't necessarily imply a depressing or tragic atmosphere throughout the novel, like a horror movie or something. The characters are very lively and interactive with even some elements of comedy and humor in play.
Warning! This book contains mature themes, ranging from outright violence and gore to psychotic sprees, insanity, graphic scenes, extreme addiction, etc.
The world building in this novel is very unique. The two worthy of mention include the Monarchy system of Great Britain, with the absence of the normal parliamentary democracy system of government. The state is ruled by the monarch and aristocratic class with different geographical structures which are all products of fiction. The second is the Astral planet Aetheria. A planet born out of Earth and lies on its hemisphere with a cosmic barrier that renders its space intangible, unless through special techniques of crossing realms. Aetheria is a beautiful world of swords and shields but also of magic and elementals. It's inhabitants refer to the normal world as the Mother Plain. More would be explained about Aetheria as the novel progresses.
