Chapter 2: Sulking

      I still couldn't believe it.

      Even though they've talked about it a million times on the news. Even though they've been sitting in jail for a month. Even though Veneer was the one to admit to they're crimes. It was still so hard to believe Velvet and Veneer were in jail.

      And it hurt. A lot. And I felt especially bad for Ritz. Imagining having a fiancé and finding out that they were a fraud! I can't even bigin to imagine it happening to me!

      I sat in my room most of the time. I'm pretty sure Ritz does too, Lenny makes sure to take care of us though, she's a great older sister.

      One day, I'm flipping through the channels when I land on a news report.

      "At eight O'clock this morning, Mr. Richard Elkson was arrested for tarreristic threats against former pop stars Velvet and Veneer, and vandalization after nearly breaking the glass wall that separated him from the two frauds." The news lady said. I sit up.

      Make that a million and one.

      "Elkson is being charged for his crimes and is banned from the station unless he's being taken into custody." The guy next to her informed. Then they started talking about the weather and all that shit.

      There was knock on my door. "Come in!" I call.

      "Did you see the news?!" Lenny asked, coming in.

      "Yes." I replied.

      "I can't believe that Elkson guy did that!" She exclaimed.

      "Yeah." I say.

      "I'm gonna go tell Ritz." She decides.

      "Don't, I doubt he wants to hear anything about Veneer." I say.

      "Fair point." Lenny agreed.

      "And can I have some ice cream?"

      "Sure..." She sighed.

      I ended up eating three bowels. Per hour.
