The Shukla family was having their lunch peacefully when Dadi broke it.
"Sidharth ke liye maine ek ladki dekhi hai" , she told them....
Everyone stopped eating.They looked confused.
"Maa...aapne ek din mein ladki dekh li?" , Mrs shukla asked
"Ladki ko pehle se hi jaante hain sab" , Dadi told them
"Pratiksha.....Tumko koi aitraaz to nahi hai" , dadi asked her
"Mujhe... Mujhe kyun aitraaz hoga dadi.." , she said nervously
"Kyunki wo ladki jise maine apne Sidharth ke liya chuna hai... Woh tumhari behen shehnaaz hai" , Dadi dropped the bomb on everybody
"Daadi...Shehnaaz...Pratiksha ki behen " , Shourya asked shockingly
"Haan"
"Dadi...wo dono ek dusre ko bilkul pasand nahi karte..Hamesha ladte rehte hain" , Shourya blurted out. Mrs Shukla elbowed him to keep quiet
"Bolo Pratiksha", Dadi asked her.
"Dadi... mujhe koi problem nahi hai.. Jaisa aap logo ka faisla..Bas mumma papa ka hi decision rhega" , Pratiksha told her.She was happy from inside but scared of Shehnaaz's reaction. It is definitely true that she does not like Sidharth.
"Maa...Aapne Sidharth se pucha..Shehnaaz ke baare mein" ,Mrs Shukla asked
"Usse baat tum karogi... Tum manaogi usey..." , Dadi said
"Aur Pratiksha...Ghar pe baat main karungi kal jake...Rakhi taiyar rehna. Kal Hame Pratiksha ke ghar jaana hai.. " , she continued
"Maa....Agar Sidharth nahi maana to..agar usne mana kardiya to", Mrs shukla said
"Use manao....Main Shehnaaz ko hi iss ghar ki choti bahu ke roop mein dekhti hoon.... Saare gud hain usme... Sidharth ke takkar ki hai wo..."
"Aur Sidharth ke dada bhi maan gaye hain...tumhe koi aitraaz hai?" , She asked Mrs Shukla
"Nahin maa...Shehnaaz bhi Pratiksha ki tarah hi hai mere liye...mujhe koi pareshani nahi hai...bas Sidharth ke liye hai...Wo thoda zyada gussa karta hai na.. To aage chalke Shehnaz ko koi dikkat naa ho" , Mrs Shukla stated
"Maa..aap tension mat lo...Agar kismat mein hua...to dono ek dusre ko smjh lenge... Khush rahenge", Pratiksha said to which Mrs Shukla smiled..

It was night and everyone had retired to their rooms. Sidharth was still in office so Mrs Shukla was waiting for him...
After hearing the horn she got up and gave him a glass of water.
Sidharth freshened up and came to have dinner
"Maa..aap kyun jaag rahe ho.. jao jake so jao...mera wait kyun karti ho" , Sidharth said being concerned
"Kyun..tujhe mera tere liye wait karna accha nahh lagta" , she said smiling while he was eating
"Accha lagne ki baat nahi hai maa.. Aap ki bhi umar ho rahi h...aapko sufficient neend leni chahiye"
"Acha...to fir teri shadi kar dete hain.. ek zimmedar bahu dhund lete hain.. wo tera khayal rakhegi aur tu uska" , she teased him
"Pehle dadi thi..ab aap ho gayi.. Haan to bol diya shadi ke liye...dhund lo ladki" , he said casually
"Maa ne tere liye ladki dekhne jane ko bola hai kal" , she said to which he coughed on food... Drinking water he looked at her helplessly
"Itni jaldi dhund bhi li?...I thought 1-2 saal lag hi jayenge acchi ladki dekhne mein....tab tak mujhe shanti rahegi..kya yaar maa...Kon hai ye ladki.. main to jaanta bhi nahi hoon" , he again made an excuse
"Jaanta hai tu....Pratiksha ki behen Shehnaaz...Teri dadi ne usey pasand kiya hai tere liye..." , She dropped the bomb on him..He stopped eating and looked at Mrs Shukla
"aur sach kahun..to meri bhi yahi ikcha thi...Par jis tarah maa Shourya ki love marriage ke liye maan nahi rahi thi..Mujhe laga unhe koi problem hogi teri shadi Shehnaaz se karane mein..par main galat thi...unhone khud iss rishte ke liye bola..." , She further said
"Sidharth...Tujhe koi aitraaz to nahi hai na Shehnaaz se shadi karne mein...Tujhe wo pasand to hai na..tu to pehle se bhi janta hai usey" , She asked lovingly
"Maa...Shehnaaz...How can this be possible..." , He said slowly
"Kyun nahin..Pratiksha ko bhi koi problem nahi hai baccha..balki wo to bohot khush hai" , she told him
He had different emotions inside him. How can he decide if Shehnaaz is good for him or not. No doubt he has no problem with Shehnaaz but he is concerned if they are compatible or not. She is a bubbly and chirpy girl...where he is hard as rock. He gets angry very easily.Will he able to make her happy lifetime. Will they be able to become a happy and ideal couple..And most importantly is Shehnaaz ready
"Shehnaaz....uska kya kehna hai.. wo ready hai? " , He asked.. Somewhere he was wanting her to say yes. Yes he has a sort of liking for her. She was a savage person and never bowed infront of anybody. He liked these kind of people who are confident and courageous
"Abhi us tak baat gayi nahi h..Tu haan bol dena baccha...Main tujhe dulha bante hue dekhna chahti hoon..tere bacche dekhna", Mrs shukla was interrupted by Sidharth
"Maa...bas bas...abhi shadi to hone do.. fir bacchon ka dekhte hain.." , he said making a weird face.
"Acchaa..haan nahi kehti....."
"Hmm"
"Matlb tujhe koi problem nahi hai na Shehnaaz se shadi karne mein.."
"Maa abhi tak usne haan nahi kiya hai.. uska decision bhi sun lo pehle"
"Haan...agar usne haan boldiya to tu natak mat karna fir "
"Hmm"

Later Sidharth was walking in the garden area alone thinking about his conversation with his mom. He was sceptical about the decision. He could not understand what is right and what is wrong for him. If this decision turns out not to be in his favour then what would he do..
He was getting stressed so he took out a ciagerette and was about to lit it using a lighter when a hand snatched the lighter from his hand..It was Pratiksha
"Bhabhi...aap..aap yaha..iss waqt" , Sidharth asked her embarrassed
"Kya baat hai dost...ham dono best friends they na..fir kya hua...kya tension hai" , She asked settling opposite him
"Tension..koi tension nahi hai...bas just casually"
"Oh...to ab baat chupane ke sath sath aap jhooth bhi bolne lag gaye" , she said
He kept quiet and looked away
"Sidharth bhaiya....main apni behen ki tareef to nahin karungi...kyuki you have already seen her raw side...par main iss baat ki guarantee de sakti hoon..ki chahe accha samay ho ya bura...wo apna sath hamesha degi...Which is rare to find..." , She told him honestly
He looked at her and smiled a bit
"Bhabhi...aisa kuch nahi hai..I know shehnaaz..she is good...but its just..ki kya ham dono compatible hain..will we both be able to live together happily"
"As you know...life is not a bed of roses.. aap yeh expect nahi kar sakte ki aap hamesha khush rahenge.. Shadi ke baad there are some clashes which are bound to take place...but the most important part is..how you both handle those fights.
And I really want ki aapko aisa partner mile jo apki silence samjhe... aapki silence mein aapki aawaz sun sake.." , she made him understand
"Thanks bhabhi...but ek question tha..kya shehnaaz"
"She does not know about this" , she cut him off
"Now go and sleep...aapko kal office bhi jaana hai..its already late"
"Good night bhabhi"
