"Daniel? Daniel!"

I blinked.

I could barely open my eyes.

"Daniel!"

I now had then half-opened.

"Daniel!"

I looked at James.

God....

"How do you feel?"

I groaned.

"W-what happened?" I mumbled.

Why was my head aching so much?

"Thanks god you're awake now! Well, you've been in a fight with Max..." he whispered, as if he knew about my headache. "Because of me."

Wait, where was I?

"It's Wednesday, Daniel. You went to school because your parents did not let you stay with me. And then you had an argue with Max according to the principal. He must have punched you really hard" James explained.

Max... Argue... Punching....

Damn.

Yes. I was trying to protect James.

And that was what I got.

"How do you feel?"

James, just lay down next to me and I'll instantly feel better.

Instead he just looked at me.

"Awful...."

"Sorry... Now we're both here. But I'm in a wheelchair and my knee is healing that good that it was already possible. Thanks to you my condition gets better with every second. And now yours will too."
