Joao and I have been invited to Bernardo silva's wedding, I haven't known them that long as we've only been together for 9 months but it was nice to be invited.

Once I finished getting ready Joao came through without his shirt on, "when are we leaving?" I asked him.
"Soon, amor" he told me as he hugged me from behind and started to kiss my neck.
Its been a couple hours and they are happily married now it the after party, while I talking to Joao I looked over his shoulder.
"Why is your ex here?" I asked him confused and annoyed.
She then started to walked our way, "I'll be back I'm getting a drink" I told him as I walked off.
"Get me one" he shouted as I walked off I just nodded to him.
I then got the a bar, I leaned on the bar and got our drinks as I look from a far that him and Magui his ex.
"You good y/n?" Someone asked me I then looked over and it was Ruben.
"Oh yeah I'm fine just Joao is having a chat with his ex" I said to him.
"I take that as a no then" he said jokingly.
"Sorry didn't mean to say it like that" I told him while forcing a smile.
As I saw Joao walking our way as I tried to walk off Ruben stopped me, "y/n don't walk away talk to him" he said to me.
"Why you being like this amor" he asked me.
"Being like what, I'm cool with your ex being here" I told him while avoiding eye contact.
"Y/n she's good friends with the bride for goodness sake" he told me while raising his voice and laughing.
I didn't say anything but just looked at the floor, "I'm sorry" I told him.
"Sorry for what?" He asked me.
"For over reacting, i just got a bit judgmental I guess" I said to him, he then pulled me in for a hug.
"Just remember I'm done with her and focusing on us" he said as he gently kissed my lips.
