"Pass!" I shout and the basketball gets thrown to me by one of the opposite teams' players and suddenly it all went dark...

Keira sighs as she relaxes in her bed with a small grunt as her head sinks into her silk pillow and her body covered with the soft duvet covers over her. She leans over to her beside table and takes a drink of water and leans back to her pillow. She softly smiles to herself knowingly remembering it's a Sunday morning knowing she doesn't have school today otherwise she would have to suffer through Nathan's constant bullying and teasing All the time! Nathan used to be a kind soul back in kingerdarden but in middle school he was a little overweight and was still kind to everyone no matter what no one knew why he was so kind? Was it because of his own experiences? Or another reason. But as soon as it was high school, he changed quicker than a flickering lightbulb like he had just hit puberty or something.

He had grown much taller, he gained muscles, he had perfect skin perfect posture and perfect black hair with dreamy olive-green eyes. He was Keira's friend through kindergarten and middle school, but he soon became a foe. He was someone she despised with her whole gut feeling she was so happy she didn't have to put up with her enemy's bullshit today but suddenly a loud voice snapped her out of her thoughts, and she heard someone shouting her name.

"Keira! Keira!" The voice repeated multiple times.

"Keira! Get ready for school your almost late!" Hm. It was her father-Paul.

"Keira! C'mon!" Paul shouted on her.

Keira groaned as she lifted up her head, rubbing her eyes with her hands. She wasn't looking forward to another day of dealing with Nathan's daily bullying, but she had no choice but to face him. She jumped out of bed, feeling the soft silk of her duvet cover against her skin as she stretched her arms above her head. She made her way to the bathroom to start her morning routine, washing her face and brushing her teeth. As she looked at herself in the mirror, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of insecurity. Nathan's words haunted her, reminding her of her own flaws. She shook the thoughts away, determined not to let him get to her today. Keira put on her outfit for school, a pair of black skinny jeans and a gray hoodie with her favorite band on it. She tied her long, red hair into a ponytail as she walked towards the kitchen, where her father, Paul was waiting for her.

"Are you ready for school?", Paul asked.

"Yea, I'm headed out now", Keira said, grabbing her backpack and heading out the door.

As Keira walked slowly to school dreading today soon, she walks towards the school, she soon walked to her classroom as the bell rang Keira sighed as she sat down at her desk, flipping through her math textbook. Math was never her strongest subject, and she was struggling to keep up with the class. She stared at the complex equations and formulas, feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information she needed to memorise. Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice behind her. "Hey, Keira," Nathan said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Need some help with this?" Keira rolls her eyes                          "I don't need help from an idiot!" Keira says confidently. Keira tensed up as she heard Nathan's voice. She knew what was coming, and she didn't want to give him the satisfaction of seeing her reaction. She ignored him and kept her eyes glued to her textbook, hoping he would soon get bored and leave her alone. But he didn't. Instead, he leaned over her shoulder, getting closer and closer until his breath was hot on her neck. "Hey, Keira," he whispered. "I know you can't do this alone. Let me help you." Hm. Keira didn't need his help she could learn from the teacher? But.. did she need his help? Probably not.

"No! I can.Do.it.alone. I don't need your help Nathan now focus on your own work" Keira huffed.

"Hm? You sure?" Nathan questioned.

Keira rolled her eyes. "I don't need your help," she said through gritted teeth. She was determined to prove to Nathan that she didn't need his assistance. She had always been a straight-A student, and she refused to let him take that away from her. She turned back to her textbook and started working on the problems, trying to ignore Nathan's presence. But it was hard. He was still right behind her, breathing down her neck, and she could feel his warmth against her skin. She tried to focus on the math, but her mind kept wandering back to him and his offer. But her thoughts where quickly interrupted by the loud sound of the school bell signalling the next class. History. Keira was quite good at History, but it got boring at points the teacher had grey hair and glasses and the classic teacher cardigan. She gets up and gets her bag and books and starts to head to her next class, but she's quickly stopped by her math teacher Miss Vickers. "Hmm i saw you declined Nathan's offer?"

"Yeah? Because I don't like him miss."

"Keira. I don't care what you say I'm patterning you two up for a math completion in the classroom okay? Remember the one I was saying you could win the prize of £100?" Miss vickers said.

"Yeah yeah" Keira rolls her eyes and walks to her next class. The teacher calls out everyone's names and everyone says either "here" or "present miss" it was weird when people said "present miss" because they all said it in a weird accent. It was always the boys who think their cool and popular and funny who say it.

Keira sat down at her desk as the history teacher began his lecture. She took notes diligently, trying to comprehend the subject matter as best as she can. Nathan sat next to her, tapping his foot impatiently as he pretended to pay attention. Keira couldn't help but be distracted by his fidgeting. She tried to ignore him and focused on the lesson at hand. After what felt like an eternity, the bell rang, signalling the end of class. Keira breathed a sigh of relief and gathered her belongings, eager to get away from Nathan. She made her way down the hallway towards her next class, but she was stopped in her tracks by Nathan's voice. "Hey, Keira. Let me help you with that," he said, taking her bag from her hands and placing it on his shoulder. Keira scowled at him but was too stunned to respond. She simply followed him to her next class, feeling Nathan's gaze on her as she walked. When they reached their destination, Keira quickly grabbed her things and ran into the classroom, taking her seat in the back. She tried to focus on the lecture at hand, but Nathan's taunts and teasing made it difficult to concentrate. Keira felt overwhelmed and frustrated. She wanted nothing more than to be out of his presence, out of his control. Finally, the bell rang, ending the school day. Keira stood up, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She didn't have to see Nathan for a few days, at least. She quickly made her way out of the school, eager to distance herself from the toxic environments of school and Nathan. She took a deep breath as she walked out of the school gates, knowing that she had a few days to relax before the next school week started. She felt a sense of contentment wash over her, knowing that she was free from the clutches of Nathan's bullying and the stresses of school. She took another deep breath, ready to face the weekend and whatever it may bring but knowing that she was safe and sound from Nathan's wrath, at least for a little while. She walked to the bus stop, ready to head home, and ready to put the past few days behind her and focus on her own happiness and peace. She lets out a grunt waiting for the bus as it started to rain, she didn't have a hood or a jacket it was raining too heavily now, and she was drenched in water. Keira felt a sudden chill as the rain soaked through her light sweater and jeans. She stood drenched, her hair matted to her head and her clothes clinging to her body. She shivered as she gazed at the approaching bus, knowing that the journey home would be cold and wet. But she was determined to stay strong, to not let the rain and her discomfort get the better of her. She took a deep breath, summoning all of her inner resilience, and boarded the bus. She found a seat near the window, her eyes fixed on the streets passing by. She listened to the sound of the raindrops hitting the roof of the bus, feeling a sense of calm wash over her. She closed her eyes, letting out a sigh of exhaustion. It had been a long and difficult day, but she was determined to make the most of the weekend ahead. She had a few days to herself, to reset and recharge before the next week began. She felt a sense of excitement for what the future held, knowing that she had the strength to face whatever challenges came her way, no matter how difficult they might be. She took another deep breath, feeling a renewed sense of purpose and determination. The bus rumbled on, bringing her closer to her home, where she could finally change out of her wet clothes, take a hot shower, and curl up in bed. She let out a contented sigh, feeling like she had come full circle, knowing that she wouldn't have to face Nathan's bullying for a few days. She was ready to face whatever life might throw her way, no matter how difficult it might be, knowing that she had the inner strength and resilience to overcome it. She let out one last sigh of satisfaction, ready to take on the weekend and whatever challenges might come her way, knowing that she could do it, no matter what.
