"Congratulations Kindergarten class of 2023, May your first grade year be filled with learning and joy" the principal said allowing all of the kids to run to their parents

"I'm so proud of you my baby" A'Vayah kissed all over his face as she picked him up

"Look at that boy ready to get all the elementary girls" Dame messed with him making A'Vayah give him the side eye

"There's my grand baby! You did so good singing your song bubba" Vanessa said as she took Ky from Vayahs arms

"Hi Vee!" She hugged A'Vayah

"Hi Nessa, it's good to see you" she hugged her back

"Imma take him over here to see everybody else" she said as Ky's face was covered with her red lipstick and was gonna be covered in more

"We did it" Dame stuck his hand out for a high five and avayh mugged him

"Ok you did most of it but I did help especially towards the end" he pulled her into a side hug and she chuckled at his words

"I'm just glad he's happy" A'Vayah said looking at the smile across her baby's face as he was surrounded by all of his family walking to the parking lot

"So what's up with you and old boy? I mean he ain't here so imma assume yall not serious or nothing" dame asked while they were walking to his car

"Why are you in my business" she replied looking at him sideways

"You are my business and I'm just tryna be kept in the loop best friend. Or we not besties no more?" he said pouting making Vee laugh

"We're just going with the flow whatever happens happens" she shrugged and dame nodded

"So I'm hearing I still got a chance"

"Take it how u wanna take it" A'Vayah shrugged getting in the car

Dame got in the car then they drove to the Airbnb where they meet everyone enjoying the nice set up they had and seeing Ky play with all his cousins and friends made their heart warm

"Sooo" Alexis came over to Vee and she was fixing the sandwiches for the kids

"What lex" Vee asked already knowing it was some bull

"How is it seeing not only your family again but what you were running from. Like all of them" She whispered

"I wasn't running for them I was running from the lifestyle, the love was always there and I fit in with his family from beginning even after he found out he had more siblings I got cool with them before he ever could" she shrugged responding to the comment

"Ok, but still it's a little nerve racking no?" Avayah chuckled and shook her head

"It's not my life no more and I made it very clear to dame who made it very clear to them we don't want that around our child. He doesn't even need to hear about it" she replied to Alexis again

"We'll-" lex was cut off by her phone ringing

Hello" Avayah picked up the phone grabbing plates and sitting them at the kids table it's lex's help

"Wassup, how everything going"

"So far so good, his family was told to be on their best behavior as well as mine. No drama yet so it's a plus"

"Ok, big adults. I fuck wit it. I was just making sure we still good for Friday then I'll let you get back to it"

"Kids come eat! Yea both of our families will be here for to weeks so I'll be kid free a lot if you wanna plan more" she smiled as Ky gave her a hug before running to the table

"Ok, noted. I'll be sure to surprise you"

"Oooo who you smiling at" Gio teased making kissy noises in the phone

"Ok I gotta go" she tried pushing him away

"Alright" tray laughed on the other end as the phone hung up

"You childish" she mugged her brother seeing dame uncomfortable as he was talking with Vee's dad in a corner

"My fault" he walked off laughing

As the day went by the family ate some good food played good cakes and just ultimately had a good old family kick back with music and vibes. At then end of the night all the kids were tucked in leaving Dame, Vee, Gio, Milla, Lexi, Chase, Deja and her Boyfriend Doni.

"Can we move on from my love life" Vee said as the whole group was interrogating her about tray

"Right, I mean respectfully ion know the nigga and I'm still tryna get my family back so in other words shut the fuck up" Vee laughed as everyone did the surrender position and the my bad looks

"But like can we talk about me about to be and Aunt, like the famous fuck them kids girl is finally having kids" Vee joked talking about Camilla and she flipped her off

"What can I say, it was time I trapped her" Gio said and Camilla popped him making everyone laugh

"I remember chase told me that and I took a plan b so fast didn't work though I still ended up with a mini chase in female form" Lexi said as the thought of her baby made her smile

"Yea y'all got that" Deja spoke and everybody gave her that look like you better not have no kids

"Damn I mean I am grown but ion want no kids at least not right now. I'll stay the inherently, rich tt" she shrugged and everybody nodded laughing

Truth was the group missed this. They did this back in st. Louis when all things were hell and when Vee first moved out to Atlanta and met Lexi and chase. A few of those sleep overs/ group hangs didn't involve dame but it was nothing like their friendship that could take all worries away even if it was for a little
