chapter 3 : friendship

" By the way you didn't answered " she continued .

" Ohh, Ma ki yaad aaraha tha isiliye yaha aa gaya , toh tumhe dekha"
Aman replied.

" Ahh wo ab kaha hai "
Megha asked..

"She is no more " Aman's pain can be seen on his face while saying this .

" Oh I am sorry " Megha said keeping her hand on Aman's back looking at him .

Aman didn't said anything.

Both of them are looking at the moon suddenly Aman said
" kitni ajeeb baat hai na , ki hum sab chand se kitna mohabbat karte hai uske upar daag hone ke baad bhi , lekin agar kisi insaan mein thori si kaami dikh Jaye toh uske bare mein kya kuch nahi sochte hai . Haina ??"

Megha looking at Aman with eyes filled with love said
" Sach kaha Chand mein bhi daag hai , phir hum toh sirf insaan hai . Koi bhi insaan perfect toh nahi ho sakta na "
she said .

But Aman remain quit . Pointing at a shooting star he said " Are are dekho ek tut ta hua tara , Jo kuch bhi use dekh kar mangte hai wo pura ho jata hai "

" Tum in sab mein biswas karte ho "
Megha said .

" Kabhi kabhi karna parta hai "
Saying this Aman closed his eyes and made a wish .

"Kya manga tumne"
Aman asked .

"Oh I don't believe these things " Megha said though she made wish of spending the rest of her life with Aman .

" Jhut mat bolo mujhe pata hai tumne kuch manga bolo kya "
said Aman looking at Megha .

" Umm kuch batein boli nahi jate..."
Megha kept her wish a secret.

"Ohk mat bolo"

"Tumne kya manga"
Megha knew Aman will not answer the question then also asked .

" Kuch batein boli nahi jate"
Aman replied in the same way Megha did .

" Achha baba naraz ho gaye "
saying this Megha looked at Aman .

" Nah nah just messing with you "

Aman looked at Megha and said
" Achha ab chalta hu tum bhi so jana apne room mein jakee "
Aman is going to leave when Megha stopped him .

Holding his hand she said "Friends..??"

Aman turned and looked at Megha who is helding her hand up towards him .

"Of course.. Why not..!!" He said shaking hand with Megha.

" Ohk mere naye dost , now go to sleep or else you will end up having dark circles under your eyes " Aman said smiling at Megha .

Megha looking at the moon said "Uss Chand ki tarah dikhungi ."

Blowing wind , the shining moonlight falling on Megha's eyes making them look like a gem , complete silence and an ideal romantic surrounding for couples. A strand of hair is disturbing Megha's eye , Aman removing the hair hold her hands firmly .

He looking direct in her eyes , benting slightly stated "Listen..!!You need to know one thing I was wrong when I compared you with the moon , you are more beautiful than it . It needs someone else's light to shine but you don't. So never compare yourself with it actually never compare yourself with anything as you are the most beautiful , gorgeous , charming lady I have seen . Always remember that. Ohk ."

Megha can't utter a word can't understand anything. Before she could say something Aman went away from there .

Megha's POV--

I will never get another chance like this . Megha you can , you have to .

" Friends??" Finally I asked .

I don't know what will be his reply , please God please Aman say yes please yes .

"Of course.. Why not..!!" He said it , he said it!!! Yoohooo he accepted .

"Ohk mere naye dost , now go to sleep or else you will end up having dark circles under your eyes" He continued .

Who cares...
" Uss Chand ke tarah dikhungi ." I said .

What is he doing. Ahh.. his eyes has surely some magic which makes me fall for him . Why is he looking direct into my soul , why he hold my hands ??

"Listen..!!You need to know one thing I was wrong when I compared you with the moon , you are more beautiful than it . It needs someone else's light to shine but you don't. So never compare yourself with it actually never compare yourself with anything as you are the most beautiful , gorgeous , charming lady I have seen . Always remember that. Ohk ."

What happened just now his words , I ca…can't , what is happening to me ???

It's not like that nobody has ever complimented me but this one feels out of the world . It hits me direct to the heart. Why the heck I am feeling like this . Ahh...What the fu-- should I do now ?? If Rahul would have been here I am sure he would have told me to know him , to understand him .

When he hold my hands it felt like he is never gonna leave them . For a moment I thought I am in paradise .

Ohhh I forgot about time . Heyyy Bhagwan it's already two thirty have to go to sleep .

Author's POV--

Megha thinking about the moments she spent with Aman can't resist herself from blushing. She wants to confess her feelings to him but at the same time is confused if she should or not . " Who knows if Aman also have the same feelings for me , who knows if he also fell in love with me but the consequences can be quite opposites what if he don't reciprocate my feelings." Thinking all these things Megha spent the whole night staying awake and end up having dark circles.
