The morning after the wedding dawned with a sense of quiet anticipation in the Hwang mansion. As the first light of day filtered through the grand windows, Felix found himself standing at the threshold of a new chapter in his life, unsure of what the future held but determined to face it head-on.

He stood in the foyer, nervously smoothing down the fabric of his dress as he awaited the arrival of Mrs. Hwang, his new mother-in-law. Despite the unease that fluttered in the pit of his stomach, Felix couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity—a curiosity about the woman who held sway over the vast expanse of the mansion, and about the family he had married into.

Just then, the sound of footsteps echoed through the hallway, and Felix turned to see Mrs. Hwang approaching, her presence commanding and regal. She greeted him with a warm smile, her eyes twinkling with a mixture of curiosity and approval.

"Welcome to the Hwang mansion, Felix," she said, her voice soft but authoritative. "I hope you slept well."

Felix nodded, a nervous smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Thank you, Mrs. Hwang," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "I...I appreciate your hospitality."

Mrs. Hwang's smile widened, and she gestured for Felix to follow her as she began to lead him through the sprawling corridors of the mansion. As they walked, she spoke animatedly about the history of the house, regaling Felix with tales of generations past and the legacy they had left behind.

"And this," Mrs. Hwang said, pausing in front of a grand oak door, "is the heart of our home—the kitchen."

Felix's eyes widened in awe as he stepped inside, taking in the gleaming countertops and state-of-the-art appliances that filled the room. It was a far cry from the modest kitchen of his childhood home, a testament to the wealth and privilege that surrounded him now.

As they continued their tour of the mansion, Mrs. Hwang introduced Felix to the household staff, a team of maids and butlers who bustled about their duties with quiet efficiency. She explained that while they took care of the majority of the household chores, she expected Felix to contribute in whatever small ways he could—a gesture of respect and gratitude for his place in the family.

"And of course," Mrs. Hwang added, her voice soft but firm, "you will be responsible for taking care of my son, Hyunjin. He has certain preferences when it comes to food and actions, certain habits that you will need to become accustomed to. But I trust that you will adapt quickly and make him happy."

Felix nodded, a strange mix of emotions swirling inside him—fear, uncertainty, but also a burgeoning sense of determination. He may have been a stranger in this grand mansion, a newcomer to the world of the Hwangs, but he was determined to prove himself worthy of their trust and acceptance.

As the day wore on and the tour drew to a close, Felix found himself standing alone in his new room, the weight of his newfound responsibilities pressing down on him like a heavy burden. But as he gazed out at the sprawling grounds of the mansion, a sense of quiet resolve settled over him—a resolve to face whatever challenges lay ahead with courage and grace.

For better or for worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health—Felix knew that he was ready to embrace the future, whatever it may bring.
