Emma's POV:

The full time whistle goes off and we finally did it, we've won the league by beating Real Madrid 3-1, if someone had told little me that in my future I would win the league and Champions league in one season, I would have called them crazy. To say that I've just won the league, I couldn't help but feel a wave of emotions come over me, I feel guilty for leaving the club that I have called my home for four years, but the coaching staff and team all understand and support my decision to move to a club more closer to home.

"RILEY" before I could even turn around I found myself being takled to the floor by my best mate Lucy Bronze "mate what hell was that for" I say as I turn to look at Lucy who's in fits of laughter on the floor next to me " that's for leaving me without a gym buddy" it's a well known fact that Lucy and I are two of the most muscular players on the team, as we spend most of are time trying to do one better than the other. As we start to get up Kiera Walsh, Lucy's girlfriend comes over " don't worry Luce you still have me" and that's all it took to make us laugh even harder "would like to see you try ki, but you could never replace me" I say with a wink.

After the trophy lift, we made our way around the stadium spending time with our fans and signing shirts, once that was done we got changed and headed out the the team bus. Some of the girls had organised a night out to celebrate our win and as a leaving party for me, I agreed to go, but I knew I couldn't stay long as I was scheduled to have a meeting in the morning with my agent, they understood why, but they all know I like a good party so they made it a good one.

As I woke up, I looked at my phone and realised my agent was going to be here in an hour, so I had to quickly have a shower, get dressed and have breakfast. As I was eating my toast, I heard a knock at the door. The moment I woke up this morning the thoughts of a WSL club not wanting me soon came to the from of my mind again, but I was just going to have wait to see what my agent says. We take a seat at my table and he could tell that I was anxious to hear what he has to say " I'm sure you are eager to know who put in an offer, so I'll get straight to it" as he gets the papers out, I immediately see a long list of club names which made me lass nervous " as we both know you want to join a club in the WSL, I'll go straight the the offers from English teams that have made offers" as he was reading out the list I couldn't help but stare at him in pure shock.
Offers:
Manchester City - £990k
Manchester United - £980k
Chelsea - £980k
Arsenal - £1M
Tottenham - £890k

Although the Man City and Man United offers were quite high, I knew I didn't want be far away from my family that lived just outside of London, so that narrowed my options down to the three London clubs, when I was younger my dad and I hated Tottenham so it was down to Chelsea and Arsenal " both Arsenal and Chelsea are three year contracts, and are willing to pay you an amazing salary, but if you want my professional opinion Arsenal are looking for you to be a regular player in their starting line up" before he had said this I was thinking of going to Arsenal, but that was what topped it off for me " I'll take the Arsenal offer" I say with a huge smile on my face "great, I thought you would go for Arsenal, I'll get in contact with Jonas, and see if we can get the contract signed at the begining of next week."

After my agent had left I called Lucy and Kiera, needless to say they over the moon for me, they said that a few of the girls from the England international team play there and that I would fit in well with the rest of the team, hearing this put my nerves at ease, but the thought of having to pack up my house here in Barcelona that was a whole new level of stress, but the Barca girls offered to help me out with that one, which was well needed.

It has been a week since I had told my agent that I will be taking the Arsenal offer and he called me back about mid-week saying that I will be signing my contract Monday morning next week, this gave me the weekend to move into my new place in London and get settled in alright. After I unpacked all of my stuff around my new house, which took me longer than expected, as I kept on getting distracted by my music I had playing on full volume, I sat down on my new sofa and started to watch one of my favourite movies Scream 6. Once the move had finished I got ready for bed and made sure I had my alar set for tomorrow morning as I needed to be at the Arsenal training centre at 9 so I can sign my contract.
