In this world everyone obtains an ability at birth. Some people get lucky and some people don't and that's just how things work, all of the high tiers are regarded as outstanding people while the low tiers are treated like trash
'I'm gonna be late!'
This is Ren Saito, the protagonist of this story. Ren grew up in an orphanage so he saw how poorly people were treated and how the world worked, all the high tier children were always adopted first and sometimes even the mid tiers, but the low tiers stayed orphans
Ren, of course, wasn't the luckiest with his ability. His ability was telekinesis which was considered to be a low to mid tier power'Ahh, I knew I should've went to sleep earlier' Even though Ren has an ability considered to be weak he tries to help people whenever he canBut the way he does it is kinda....

Ren wanted to help people but if he ever got into a fight with a high tier he would probably get bullied by other high tiersSo instead he went for a more subtle approach and decided to help people in a way that his identity would remain hiddenSo he decided to become a vigilante, for reasons only god knows why.
"Im finally here" Ren exclaimed as he walked through the class door
"Your late but since it's the first day ill let it pass for now, just don't be late again" what seemed to be the teacher said to Ren "Yes sir" Ren replied and went to go sit at his desk 'Lets go, I got the window seat' Ren was happy
"Alright class listen up, you guys can call me Sora and I will be your teacher and counselor for the time that you remain in this school" Mr. Sora seemed to be a somewhat strict teacher
"The first day at this school will just be about getting used to your classes and your schedule, you will also need to get used to your classmates as well, you can't expect to be a great heroes if you can't work together" Mr. Sora started explaining the rules of the school '*yawn* This is boring' As the brilliant person Ren is, he decided to take a little nap because he was tired from patrol
(I am NOT making someone read rules for a non existent school)
"Ren. Ren.... REN!"
"Hu- Oh, I guess I dozed off, sorry" Ren apologized to his irritated teacher "We were about to do Introductions, would you care to join us?" Asked Mr. Sora "Hm, Oh yeah sure" Ren replied "Alright then you may start" Mr. Sora pointed to the boy at the front of the class
"My name is Kozuki Kozu I'm a mid tier-" the class had begun their introductions. Ren didn't pay attention to anything but their names and ranks
"I'm Aimi Chisaki a mid tier-"
"I'm Asami Inoue a mid tier-
" Inosuke Kazuki a mid tier-
"Daisuke Oden a mid tier"
He didn't particularly care about the mid tiers but there were some High tiers in his class that caught his attention "I'm Aoi Tanaka a High tier, my ability is Elemental Bow"
"I'm Isamu Nakamura a High tier, my ability is Slow sight"
"I'm Haru Adachi a High tier my ability, is Fire manipulation"
and surprisingly there was even an Elite tier among the class as well "My name is Chiyo Suzuki an Elite tier, my ability is called Materialization" Everyone seemed excited to have an elite tier in their class but then, it was Ren's turn.
"I'm Ren Saito, a low tier and my ability is Telekinesis" After Ren's introduction everyone that got excited seemed to get disappointed as soon as they heard he was a low tier
'*sigh* I knew that would happen' Ren was also disappointed
After the introductions were finished the students were introduced to their classes and how they're schedules would work for the first year they attend 'Man that was boring' Ren got bored of all the introductions, except for when they got to the science lab
'The real question is do I go on patrol today or see what school has instore for tomorrow' Ren contemplated as he got to his dorm room for the first time. The dorm was decently spacious and had a little kitchen and bathroom 'I guess this is what you would expect for the honor students' Despite having a weak ability Ren managed to get into the honors classes purely due to his perfect grades
After settling in his dorm it had already gotten late so Ren decided to go on a quick patrol. After getting off the campus he flew around a bit using his ability to pick himself up, after a while he saw some thieves in an alleyway trying to mug somebody
'Agh, I guess I have some work to do after all' Ren dropped himself down and dropped a smoke bomb, after that he stole any weapons that he saw earlier and tossed the person being mugged on top of a building
This is how Ren does his patrols. His ability is too weak to use as a weapon so he uses it in a smart way by disarming opponents and if he ever needs fire power he carries vials with chemicals on him to make an explosion or two
After saving the person he left immediately with the weapons in hand 'If I were to get into a fight with them I might not make it out a live' Ren knew his limits and he didn't want to push them
After Ren's quick patrol he came back to his dorm at 2 Am so he could get enough sleep to function during the school day.
(This was just kind of something random I felt like doing cause why not? I'm pretty sure this is an original concept, I also made all of the characters and story so Idk if it's going to end well but I guess I'll find out. Also bare with the first chapters because when thinking of the plot the hardest part was how do I get to the middle. I'll post scaling and info about the world soon so it becomes understandable Enjoy :) )
