"Hi...." James said slowly, looking at her swollen eyes. Nora noted that he wasn't getting much sleep with the way his eyes look when wearing his glasses, his face more pale than usual. "I uh, didn't know you're hanging out with Flint again." James said awkwardly, Nora fiddling with her hands.

"Oh yeah, we decided to make amends." Nora said happily, Atticus and Betty so obviously listening in on the conversation. "Listen er— maybe we should talk. Is now okay?" James asked, Nora looking at Atticus, wondering if he did some voodoo magic to make his happen.

"We'll meet you at Theo's!" Atticus yelled before the two aparated, Nora scoffing. "Did he plan that?" James asked, Nora shrugging her shoulders as she scratched her head, James letting her back inside the gate.

"Let's just talk on the stairs." Nora suggested, not wanting to go inside. "Okay." James mumbled, sitting on different steps looking at each other.

Wondering what to say, Nora stared at James who looked at the ring on his finger, wondering where he got that from. "There's a real reason why I joined—"

"Cause regulus is a death eater." James immediately said, cutting her off. "What— I didn't tell you that." Nora stuttered, unsure of what to say.

"Well, I figured it out. I also know everyone else that is one as well. Just because you've been hiding it, doesn't mean everyone else has, infact they flaunt it." James said bitterly, looking at the clouds for a moment.

"Regulus is truly the reason, I joined to protect him. He's barely 17, he needed someone who was going to be there for him James. The others, they're incapable." Nora said, trying to figure out the perfect words.

"You're not his mother Nora, you can't always protect him, you're putting your life in risk to help him." James told her, Nora shaking her head at that.

"I'm not, but you know what, I got a mother breathing down my neck about my life, unlike you I don't have a mother that loves me." Nora snapped, James scoffing at her. "So because your mother doesn't love you she forced you to be a death eater?"

"Are you seriously asking me that? YES! That's what happened. Look you're mad I get that, but you cannot pin this on me, I had to do something because one way or not he was going to kill me. And since I was dating you, he was gonna kill me if I didn't join the order."

"What?"

Nora stared at James, her eyes began to get watery again, wondering how many more times she could cry over this subject. "He knows about us, and he didn't trust me because of our relationship James. It's why i'm a spy, to test my loyalty to him while also being with you. There were so many times I wanted to tell you, I just didn't know how." Nora rambled, James staring at her blankly.

Taking off his glasses as pinching the bridge of his nose, Nora watched him be overwhelmed with emotions, her eyes going wide. "I don't know what to say Nora. You've been a spy and realized I couldn't even figure it out. Is this relationship a lie? Are you only with me to be in the order and betray all of us?" James snapped, Nora scoffing.

"Well?"

"No james! For once I thought I actually found love and that the death eater thing would be temporary. I still see us living in godrics hallow surrounded by kids and a boy I love. Don't you still see it?" Nora asked, desperate as she goes onto her knees and begging him to forgive this mess.

"All I see is the lies you've told me Nora. All I see is you being a death eater and lying to everyone in the order. I always knew you were just a little like your relatives, but I never thought you'd be in something like them."

"Would you rather have me dead? At any point I could die because of my relations with you, but I wanna be with you, I don't care about the consequences!" Nora yelled, watching James getting up and taking off his jacket.

"Go home Nora, I don't wanna talk to you—"

"But I wanna talk to you! I still love you and I always will! I'll stay out here and win you back if I have to. I'll even try and leave if I can! I'll do anything to be with you James. I wanna be with you for the rest of my life! Just forgive me!" Nora yelled, getting off her steps and watching him on the porch.

It began to rain as Nora wasn't going to give up, her stomach dropping when the door was shut, James no longer standing outside, slamming it. Dropping to her knees and wanting to scream, Nora looked at the window and seeing euphemia standing there, seeing a tear go down on her cheek.

Nora was alone once again, looking away at the windows and opening the gate, wondering what to do now.
