Cody thoughts: I watched some videos on YouTube dinner was takeing while  to make since there was a football match going on which everyone in my family likes apart from me. So dad was looking at the tv while making dinner which makes dinner later than usual. So I thought I would go up to the roof and look at griffin rocks lights I always loved the lights from view u get from the roof i go there quiet often when I feel left out from my family it which happens a lot. I opened my door slowly so I don't make any noise. I went downstairs the door was down the corridor from my room which was easy to follow. But one thing I did not think of was there was a open door to the kitchen which everyone was in order to go to the roof door I had to go passed the kichen and if someone saw me then they will ask me questions on where I'm going, which I can't asked to answer those questions and I will probably get into trouble for going outside at night
I crept silently . I sped walked it down the corridor without looking back

"Cody"?
I turned around to look at my brother kade starring at me
"Cody what are u doing"?
"Uhmm I wanted to go up to the roof to look at the lights from Griffin rock" explains Cody innocently
"Okay"
1 minute passed
"But why were u sped walking across the door" stated Kade
"Uhm bc I wanted some fresh air bro" explained Cody
"Okay fine whatever squirt" said kade
Kade walked off
Why dose kade have to be always so nosy not gonna lie..
Cody thought to himself I opened the door to the roof
As soon had walked though the door where was a big flashes of lights in the small town.i loved it so much it was beautiful.the sky was a dark navy colour and it was clear no cloud to be seen.i sat down and leaned my head towards the wall stareing at the night sky.A few minutes passed I pulled out my phone from pocket in my black pyjamas.i wore a green shirt with it.green is my favourite colour.. I looked through my phone to see any new messages I had one unread messages it was from pricilla pynch (madeleine pynchs daughter) p= Uhmm.. hey Cody can I talk to u tonight in the park..
WHAT why the FUCK is she texting me..I talked to Pricilla a lot during school we have most of our classes together but like I don't trust her that much because of her mother..this is so werid why is she texting me.my family is always telling me not to talk her because of her mother but like I kinda like her cuz she is nice, well to some people I guess
At 9.15
C=uhmm my curfew is 10 pm but like why do u want to go to the park
P=cody I promise it's not a trap it's about my mom and like u know how tough my life is with her I talked about so many times in school
C=okay fine then I will be there in 10 mins
P=okay thanks Cody sorry this is short noice but I need somone to talk to rn in person I'm crying my eyes out...

As soon has I sent that text I runned back to my room to get ready
I searched in my wardrobe for something decent to wear.after 3 mins of deciding what to wear I chose to wear dark navy jeans with dark red shirt and a  black hoodie.I brushed my hair it has gonna a bit long it's up to my neck now.i left my hair open cuz I couldn't be bothered to tie it back.after that I grabbed my phone my battery was 15 percent I think it should last long enough I will try not to use it that much.
I walked out of my room and went through the kitchen door I saw everyone there they were starring at the football match on the tv.i went up to my dad who was watching from the kitchen (it was in one room the  living room and the kitchen).
"Dad I'm gonna out to the park I'm going to meet up with one of my friends"
"What now ? It's dark Cody I don't like when u go out on your own at night"
"Dad I'm 14 now I'm teenager I can handle it plus I really need to meet up with this  friend  it's urgent
"Okay fine son but (checks the time on his watch) it's 9:23 if your going to be late text me okay before I start getting worried about u"
"Okay dad thanks"
I went to the fire pole and went down to the garage. As I soon as my legs hit the floor I took my hoverboard from grahams desk and activated it after that I begin my way to the park.
