It's been 4 days since I wrote a poem,
But it's complicated to write about you.
Some days, I'm excited, others I'm sad,
When you text me, I feel touched and glad.
But then you send cold and dry messages,
Leaving me feeling unfair and frustrated.
I watch you play, but you don't do the same.
Everything's complicated now, It's such a pain.
I wish I could go back to the past,
When we laughed, bonded, and showed so much love and grace.
But now it seems possible,
And my heart feels like it'll be shattered to pieces.
So I let go of the past,
And accept the reality, for I know it's the last.
No matter what, I'll remember the good times,
And treasure them forever, for it rhymes.
