Undelivered text.

In the realm of phones and screens we dwell,
Where messages are sent, stories to tell,
But amongst the buzzing and the glow,
There lies a tale of woe.

A text that was composed with care,
Filled with love, hope, or despair,
Typed out with fingers, pressed with grace,
But never to reach its destined place.

For lost in the digital abyss,
Caught in a network's cold embrace,
The words remain forever adrift,
An undelivered message in time's embrace.

Unseen by eyes that long to read,
Unheard by ears that ache to heed,
The silence echoes loud and clear,
A communication gone awry, my dear.

Oh, undelivered text, a tragedy untold,
Lost in the vast expanse, left in the cold,
May your journey find an end,
And reach its recipient, dear friend.

Until then, we'll wonder and we'll wait,
For the message to arrive, before it's too late,
Hoping for a glimpse, a sign, a clue,
That the undelivered text will find its way to you.
