Chapter 13

"How many times have I warned you to stop come into my room without Salama or knocking at least do one" I said angrily

" I'm sorry ya maya but I came to confirm something" she said

" what is it"

" I heard abbah and Ommah saying something about you and ya Othman getting married, is that true?" She said

" Is that why you barged into my room" I said glaring at her

"Sorry nowww please tell me is it true" she said

"Gulma Kawai kika iya" I said and sighed before telling her everything

" Oh my Allah! Omaya what are you waiting for, what have you decide, you know how handsome ya Othman is and all that, Wait... is he also down with it" she said in one breath

" I don't know yet and I don't know whether I should agree or not" I said

" come on ya maya think about it,I know you feel something for ya Othman you just don't want to admit that" she said and I glared at her

" I only see him as my best friend and brother nothing else" I corrected her

" whatever, now just tell them yes and let celebrate the good news abeg. Ah I can't wait for the dinner and my dress and make up also" she said and I looked at her

" didn't expect that" I said and she hugged me and whispered All the best before exiting the room

"Allah ya shirya" I chuckled

After some minutes of thinking I decided to go meet Ommah and tell her what I've decided.

I went downstairs and met my siblings in the parlor

" where is Ommah" I asked

" in her room" Ayasha answered and winked at me and I hissed at her before heading straight to Ommah's room

I knocked and I entered after I heard her say come in

I met her on her prayer mat reading Qur'an. I sat beside her waiting for her to finish and after some minutes she finished and closed and turned to me it before saying Sadaqallahul azim

"Ommah good evening" I greeted

"Evening maya how are you" she said

"Fine Alhamdulilah" I said

" Masha Allah" she answered and kept quiet before I decided to break the silence

"Ommah I've thought about what you said and I've decided to agree and Marry Othman" I said in one breath and a smile emerged from her lips

"Masha Allah Omaya I'm proud of you, May Allah bless you" she prayed

"Ameen Ommah but what did Othman say about it" I asked

" I don't know yet I have to call his mother and ask her but first let me inform your dad about your decision then he will call his dad also, okay" she said calmly

"Okay Ommah I will take my leave now" I said and she nodded and smiled and I opened the door and I saw someone running to hide and I know it was Ayasha but I ignored that and left to the kitchen to get something to eat

Othman's POV:

I was in my room about to go outside when a call came in from Iman

Why is this girl calling me, can't she come and meet me . I thought in my mind

" Hello"

" hello ya Othman Walidah is calling you" she said

" where is she"

"In her room with baba" she said

" okay I'm coming" with that I left the room and headed straight to walida's room

" Salam alaikum" I said

" walaika Salam" they both answered

𝖳𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝗂𝗌 𝗌𝖾𝗋𝗂𝗈𝗎𝗌

"Sit down Othman we want to to tell you something" Walida said and I sat on the black carpet on the floor

"Ina ji Walida" I said

"Othman do you plan on bringing another girl to marry or do you want to stay like that because of what Tasneem did" Baba said I didn't know what to say so I chose to keep quiet

" Am I not talking to you Othman? Why do you want to ruin your life because of a girl" he said this time around more serious

"Baba I don't think I will trust any girl now so I don't have anyone girl baba I don't even want to get married" I said remembering what Tasneem did to me,I trusted that girl but she deceived me

"No Othman you must get married just calm down and think about what I want to tell you now" Walida said

"We can see how close you are with Omaya and she's is the only girl you are close with so we thought about it and we decided to ask you if you want to marry her you know how calm and nice that girl is Othman think about it" Walida said which made me to look up and look at her

"What?! Omaya kumma, No Walida she is just my best friend nothing else" I said looking down

" We know Othman we just want you to think about it her Parents have talked to her already we just want to hear from you if you will or not, calm down and think about it Othman it a very good idea" baba said

" Baba then I will have to think about it and if she has agreed then fine" I said not really okay with what I said

"Wow Othman I'm proud of you and yes Omaya has agreed but we will give you two time to settle with each other" Baba said and with that I left the room after they released me

"What have you done Othman ?! Do you even like Omaya do you see her as your wife Oh No I've messed up but May Allah make this easy for me ,Ameen" I said to my self as I entered my room
