Chapter 3

Omaya's POV

"Why are you here,are you here to ruin my day again " I asked the guy

"Omaya what's wrong with you, why are you asking Othman this question"ya nif said making me think of what he said again,WHAT!! Did he just say Othman!!!I asked myself

"Omaya??" The guy said looking at ya nif

"Is he Othman" I asked

"Yes don't you remember him"baba asked (his dad)

"I remember,I'm just shocked to see how he has changed"I said as I went out of the parlor and went to where Ommah and the rest were

I went straight to where Ayasha and the rest were and I sat close to ya dija ( Othman's sister )

"Ya dijaa"I said as I hugged her

"Mayaa Yakike (how are you)" she asked

"Lafiya kalau ya dija" I answered

"How is that your friend you and Othman" she asked

"Noor?" I asked

"Yeah" she answered

"She is fine, she wanted to come but her mom is sick so she couldn't come"I answered

"Allah sarki,greet her for me" she said

"Okay" I said as I smiled

"How is Teemah and her daughter" she asked, she came to her wedding but Mammie couldn't come cuz she was sick

"She is fine" I answered and she smiled, I like ya dija cuz she is very nice and quiet

I turned to Iman's side and saw a girl who looks the same age as Maha

"Come here little girl,what's your name"? I asked her

"Aya" she answered with her sweet voice

"Iman she looks like you is she your cousin?" I asked

"She is Mammie's last born,she gave birth to her after we left Morocco"she answered and I looked at the girl

"Wow no wonder" I said

"Ayasha where is maha?" I asked Ayasha

"She said she will come when she finish her assignment"she answered

"Oh okay"

"Who is Maha?"Iman asked

"Ommah last born"Ayasha answered

"Oh nice" Iman said

We continued talking when Amira ( the maid ) came in and said the food was ready

I went to my room to get my phone cuz I left it there, I quickly grabbed it and went out of the room when I bumped into someone

"Ouch!!ya nif watch where you're going" I said as I bend to pick my phone that fell

"Omaya"A voice said making me freeze for seconds, I looked up to see who it was and it was Othman

"What are you doing up here" I asked him looking at my phone to see if nothing happened to it

"Why do you always bump into me" he said with his husky voice making me to look up

"What?!! It was just yesterday that you bumped into me and you are saying I always bump into you"

"But you used to bump into me before don't you remember" he said as he was coming close to me making me to move back

"Omaya, why did you leave me?" He said still coming closer to me

" wha.." I was about to say something when he hugged me making me freeze like a statue,...I hugged him back and we hugged for almost 2 minutes, I quickly stepped back when I heard Ayasha's voice calling me

"What are you two doing here, you were in the parlor just now and boom you disappeared, hmm I see,you missed each other that wh..

"Ayasha stop talking rubbish and keep quiet"I said as I quickly went downstairs

My heart was beating so fast that I could hear it, I went to the dining room and everyone was staring at me

"Sorry I went to get my phone" I said as I sat down

Few seconds later Ayasha and Othman came and they sat down, Othman sat close to me and Ayasha sat close to Iman

"I remember when Othman and Omaya used to be very close" Mammie spoke all of a sudden

" They were inseparable" Ommah said making everyone laugh

Okay this is awkward, why are they talking about us now

"Mmm this food is so delicious"Mammie said touching her stomach

"Your daughter made it ,she is very good in cooking,I'm proud of her"Ommah said making me blush

"Wow,who ever your husband is,he is lucky" Baba said and I bend my head and smiled

"Ya Othman" Iman teased and everyone looked at her and bursted out a laugh

"Imannn" I said as I felt like punching her mouth

Everyone laughed and we finished eating,it was time to pray and everyone prayed after praying everyone was in the parlor,after some few minutes baba said they will take their leave and we escorted them to the front door

"Amma dole yaran nan su zo next week (this children have to come next week)"
Baba said

"Insha Allah we will come next week" Ommah answered

They finished talking again at the front door before going to the car

"Are you missing me already"a husky voice from behind me said making my heart beat I turned to see who it was and of course His majesty Othman

"I knew you were the one" I said rolling my eyes

"Arrogant" I murmured

"You still think I'm arrogant even after finding out that I'm your Othman"he said making me blush a little

I rolled my eyes and turned to ya dija and the rest who were about to enter the car,we said our goodbye and Ommah hugged mammie

"Bye till we come next week insha Allah" Ommah said and they entered the car and left.... We went back in and I went upstairs I layed down on my bed and called noor

"Hey bestie, how is Ammiey?" I asked

"She is fine" she answered

"Now tell me ,did Othman change a lot"she said sounding eager to see how he looks now

"Hmm I have gist for you but I'm tired now so I will tell you tomorrow when I come"I said

"Ughh okay toh bye Ammiey is calling me" she said as she hung up
