Kion X Rani: Tough Love

Chapter 2: The Arrival

As the Lion Guard ended their morning patrol they decided to head to the watering hole for a drink. "Guys after we drink water we need to go and meet King Sahasi and Queen Ananda" Kion said. "Alright" Fuli responded. "Poa, I can't wait to meet them" Beshte said excitedly. "Yeah, me too" Kion replied.

After the Lion Guard drank water from the watering hole, they started to head out to meet the King and Queen of The Tree of Life. "Do you think that the King and Queen are good rulers or bad rulers" Bunga said seriously. "BUNGA, HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT!!! OF COURSE THEY ARE GOOD RULERS" Fuli shouted. "I said it with my mouth Fuli, and I was just wondering, I never heard of The Tree of Life anyways" Bunga responded to Fuli. "You guys really know how to make me laugh" Kion said laughing. 'But in my opinion, I think that King Sahasi and Queen Ananda are very good rulers' Kion said. "I agree with Kion, Bunga" Beshte added. "Affirmative" Ono said.

The Lion Guard were getting closer and closer to the meeting place where they would find the King and Queen of the Tree of Life. As the Lion Guard approached the meeting spot they saw the King and Queen of The Tree of Life approaching them.

As soon as they meet at the meeting spot, Kion and the Lion Guard bowed their heads down in respect. "Hello your majesties" Kion and the Lion Guard said. "Hello Lion Guard, Hello Prince Kion" Sahasi said. "How was the journey to the PrideLands?" Kion asked. "It was good, we saw a lot of amazing animals and beautiful view's" Ananda said. "I'm glad you enjoyed the journey here, anyways we should head to Pride Rock" Kion said. "Agreed" Sahasi replied to Kion.

Kion saw Rani behind her parents, Kion wanted to go and talk to her when all of a sudden Janja and his crew started to attack Kion and the Lion Guard. "KION JANJA HE'S ATTACKING!!" Ono shouted. "Kion what do we do?" Fuli asked. "Protect the Royal family of the Tree of Life!" Kion shouted.

Sahasi and Ananda and Rani stood in the middle of the circle which the Lion Guard made to protect them. "Where are you going Kion?" Janja laughed. (Janja's crew consisted of 10 hyenas). Kion started to growl loudly, suddenly Kion attacked Janja and his entire crew. Kion pinned one down and threw another to the side. Suddenly Kion was pinned by Janja and was clawed in his chest by Cheezi and Chungu. Kion roared in pain. After some effort Kion managed to use his hind to kick Janja in his lower stomach. "KION!!" Bunga shouted. "Cmon guys we need to help him" Beshte said. Kion turned to his friends and said "NO Protect the Royal Family!" Kion said.

Kion was fighting 10 hyenas by himself and was somehow winning, Kion then found an opportunity to use the Roar to blast them back into the outlands. Kion roared at Janja and his hyenas and they went flying back into the outlands. Kion fell down on the ground and lost consciousness due to the amount of blood he lost. "KION" Bunga shouted as he ran over to check if is best friend was okay. Sahasi and Ananda ran over to check if Kion was okay, while rani was scared at the fact that Kion might die.

Although Rani didn't know Kion, she was always afraid of watching a lion die in front of her, especially when the lion was protecting her. "Why did he take them on by himself ?!" Rani said as she ran up beside her parents. "We need to take him to Rafiki right now " Beshte said as Bunga and Fuli placed Kion on Beshte's back.

Beshte ran as fast as he could to save his friend and leader. They arrived at Rafiki's tree and placed Kion down on the ground gently. "RAFIKI, WE NEED YOU RIGHT NOW!!" Bunga shouted. Rafiki jumped down from his tree only to find Kion laying unconscious on the ground surrounded by a pool of blood. "WHAT HAPPEND TO KION?!" Rafiki said as he ran up to Kion. "We were attacked by Janja and his clan" Fuli answered.

Rafiki immediately began to heal Kion, as he wrapped Kion's wound with leaves Simba and Nala came sprinting down the hill to get to Rafiki's tree. "Rafiki will Kion be okay?" Nala asked, worried that her son might die. "He is fine, he will wake up in a couple of days, right now he needs to rest and regenerate the blood he lost" Rafiki said. Simba and Nala walked up to Kion and they began to nuzzle him.

Sahasi, Ananda and Rani were watching Simba and Nala nuzzling Kion. They were worried for Kion's life, "What if he dies?" Ananda said. "Kion is a strong lion, he will survive" Sahasi added, Rani sighed hoping that Kion doesn't die. Rani didn't have any feelings for Kion, but she knew that he was brave and strong.

"Simba we need to talk" Sahasi said as he walked up to him. "Alright let's go" Simba said to Sahasi. As the two King's walked further away from the rest, "We know that this a tough time for you and your family, we can wait on the peace treaty for a few day's, until Kion wakes up" Sahasi said to Simba. "Thank you Sahasi, you are a great King and a great friend" Simba replied as he hugged Sahasi.

3 days have passed and Kion was still unconscious, Rani was worried that Kion might never wake up again. She was pacing back and forth worried for Kion. "Rani?" Kiara said as she walked into Pride Rock's den. "Oh hi Kiara" Rani replied. "Are you okay Rani?, you have been pacing back and forth for the past 3 hours" Kiara said to Rani. "I'm okay I'm just worried for Kion" Rani replied to Kiara. Kiara smirked at her, Rani noticed this and said "No Kiara I don't like Kion I'm just worried for him, he saved me and my family, I've always been nervous whenever I see a lion who got hurt protecting me or my family" Rani explained. "I understand, I've always had the same problem, especially when Kion get's hurt, He is always protecting the Pride Lands from all types of dangers and I always feel guilty seeing him in pain, I feel like I failed to protect him as a big sister. " Kiara explained to Rani. Rani just nodded and hugged Kiara, "Kion will be alright, I don't know him that well, but I know that he will survive this and wake up soon" Rani said. "Yeah, your right Rani" Kiara said as she pulled away from the hug.

Kion's pov:

I was in a white room, I tried to find a way out but failed. Suddenly I heard my name being called, "Kion", I turned around to see who it was, once I turned around i was speechless. "G- Grandfather Mufasa?!" Kion said in total shock. "Yes Kion it is me, you need to wake up Kion your family needs you" Mufasa explained. "I don't know how to I'm trying but nothing seems to work grandfather" Kion said. "Follow me" Mufasa said to Kion. "Uhh okay" Kion said as he started to follow his grandfather. Suddenly Mufasa stopped and said " Kion look down". Kion looked down and what he saw surprised him. 'I-I-I don't believe it' Kion said in a shocked and confused tone.
