It is 11 in the morning, and am still in bed, feeling devastated about what happened a week ago.i can't believe my mum didn't want me to go to college,is not like am staying there forever,i just want to futber my education and bacone a doctor that's all, doesn't she want the best for me?
"Arrgh,this is so confusing"i said pulling my hair.
Immediately there was a knock on my door who would be at home at this time, my parents have probably gone to work and my brother is in school or maybe it's my dad cuz sometimes he end up not going.
"Come in" i said
I was surprised to see my mom standing in the middle of my room
"why didn't you go to work?"
I said looking at her
"don't be like that sweetie"
" why wouldn't I be like that you didn't allow me to go to college"
" come on it's not like that, I'm trying to protect you from the things of the world I don't want them to take your innocence"
innocence what did she mean by that
" mom I'm just going to further my education and become a good doctor is there anything bad in that"
" no sweetie that is not what I meant"
" then what do you mean?"I asked her
"what I mean is that college is too exposed, you might end up getting hurt one way or the other , and I don't want you getting hurt"
"I can take care of myself mom, come on don't be like that I'm 18 I can take care of myself"
"honey you won't understand"
"then make me understand"
"I don't know how to put it to your own understanding"
seriously she's making this more confusing for me to handle what does she mean by I won't to understand
" okay you know what sweetie you can go to college,I will allow you just promise me you won't let the things of the world overcome you, you would always be a good girl you always be mommy's girl"she said squishing my cheeks
"really?"
I ask to be really sure of she said
"yes" she said
"oh my god thank you mum" I said hugging her, oh my god I can't believe this I'm finally going to Belford College
"Okay let's go to shopping so we can get the necessities you need for college"she said after we break the hugging
"Okay let me get ready"I said getting down from the bed almost tripping
"Oh my god don't fall sweetie"my said laughing
