"Do you even have to ask?"

I roll my eyes at her childishness and make a cup for her. 

"Thank you, Gina."

"You're welcome."

"So ready to tell me what's wrong?"

"Nothing is."

"You forget. I can always tell when you're lying. Henry's been off too, and keeps saying he's just worried about you, which I can tell is only partly true. So. What does he have to be worried about?"

"I'm just still trying to heal after Robin."

"I can tell you're lying again. You don't look the same."

"What do you mean?"

"I can tell you're not sleeping. You've lost weight. Could you please just tell me. I'm worried about you."

"Why do you worry?"

"Because I care, Regina. You know I do."

"Why do you care?" I ask cautiously and move closely in front of her. 

"Because you're the mother to our son, and my best friend."

"You forget Ms. Swan, just as much as you know me, I can also tell when you're not telling me the whole truth" I whisper moving closely. I watch her take a gulp, and it's nice to see I still have the same affect on her. Maybe she still does have feelings for me. I look into her eyes deeply. Then suddenly, I hear loud banging on my front door. 

"Right on time. I bet I already know who that is" I say walking away to the door with an extra sway in my hips feeling her eyes lingering on me.

"Hello, Pirate, to what do I owe this unfortunate surprise visit."

"Where is she, Witch?"

"I'm right here Killian, what's the matter?"

"I got out of the shower and you weren't there. You didn't tell me you were leaving."

"You were in the shower. I forgot I had Henry's phone."

"I don't see him around, and it surely doesn't take this long to return a phone."

"I was talking to Regina. Why are you being weird?"

"I was just worried, Love. Can we go home now?

"Yes."

"Have a good night, Regina" and with that she walks out. Hook lingers back a little longer.

"Stay the hell away from her."

"Or else what? You'll give her another love potion?"

"I will make you miserable in ways you'd never imagine."

"I don't take threats lightly, Hook. It's you who should be worried about what I can do. She loves me still, and you know it. That's why you're attached to her hip like a pathetic puppy 24/7. It's only a matter of time until she tries to get away from you because she's feeling smothered. Now get the hell away from my house before I burn you into a crisp!" I seethe. 

I slam the door in his face. 

"Hey, Mom, you okay?" Henry says coming down the stairs. 

"Of course. Emma came by to drop off your phone. She said she forgot that she had it. I don't suppose you gave it to her on purpose?"

"It would be unlike me to plot a way for her to show up here unannounced and without Captain Moron."

"Thank you." I kiss his cheek.
