16 | FAMILY TIMES

HERA WAS NOW IN THE KITCHEN, helping the three other women clean the dishes while the boys and Ruwee had taken Anakin outside for a walk and talk in the garden. Hera walked into the kitchen with a fruit bowl and set it down next to Jobal (who was putting the food away to become leftovers).

"Why haven't you told us about him?" Sola asked, standing by the sink washing dishes, while Dahlia was putting away and drying the dishes.

"What's there to talk about?" Hera questioned, walking out to the dining room and back into the kitchen with another dish. "He's just a boy."

"A boy?" Sola questioned sarcastically, and she rolled her eyes slightly.

"Have you seen the way he looks at you?" Dahlia asked with a small smirk as she closed a cabinet.

"Dahlia - stop it!" Hera exclaimed, slapping Dahlia's arm lightly as she passed.

"It's obvious he has feeling for you. Are you saying, little baby Hera, that you haven't noticed?"

"I'm not a baby anymore, and I'm older than you," Hera said with a small frown on her face. "Anakin and I are friends... our relationship is strictly professional." Hera turned to Jobal, who was simply msiling at teh interaction. "Auntie, would tell them to stop it?"

Sola began to laugh. "Well, maybe you haven't noticed the way he loooks at you. I think you're afraid to."

"Cut it out."

"Sola and Dahlia are just concerned... we all are," Jobal said softly, walking over and rubbing Hera's shoulder.

"Oh, guys, you're impossible. What I'm doing is important," Hera said, moving away and towards the large window in front of the sink, and she moved ot the side of the sink to start sorting through the silverware. She looked outside to see her brothers, Anakin, and uncle talking to each other.
