Tents were made nearby. The Sun set till then. Shalini was feeling weak and tired so she went inside tent. Mayank dragged Abhi aside from his friends to enjoy some privacy. He placed his phone on a tree brunch setting selfie timer and posed taking Abhi in bridal style.
"What are you doing shameless!"
"Relax babe, nobody is watching us....."
"Wrong. The birds are watching, bees–butterflies are watching, insects are watching"
"Hahaha to ab tu panchhi, titliyon se bhi sharmayega ?" Mayank laughed.
"Main thodi tumhari tarah besharam hun ? Wait.... kya tumne mujhe just 'tu' kaha ?"
"Yeah... jaise bachpan me kehta tha. Kiun pasand nahi hai ?"
"Mujhe to 'tu' hi jyada pyaara lagta tha. Pata nahi achanak tum tum kiun bolne lage the"
"Abse tu hi bolunga darling"
Mayank pinned his dulhan with tree stem. A passionate kiss held under vast sky.
"I didn't break my promise Abhi...... aaj tujhe pahado ke god me kiss karne ka wada bhi pura kar diya....." Mayu soothed Abhi's cute face saying, "bohot khoobsurat lag raha hai waise, kya baat hai ?"
He leaned for another kiss but Abhi pushed him seeing something. Adi and Daru are capturing them from bush. Abhi's face turned red like straberry.
Mayank started cursing; "Saale kutte ke bille privacy ka matalab nahi samajhta ?"
"Oye dulhe raja! Khuli aasman ke neeche khullam khulla romance karta hai aur privacy maangta hai ?"
"Photo kiun le raha hai ? Jaa na apni biwi ke paas"
"Photo ? Video shoot kar raha hun. Art film banaunga tum dono par"
"Wah re chutiye! Doctor se sidha filmmaker ?"
Time blew in it's rhythm. It was day of new moon. But innumerable stars were shimmering in the sky. The blabbering boys returned near campfire. Today Shalini and Adi will share same tent, poor Daru has to sleep alone again.
The enjoyment began as usual. Singing, dancing, drinking everything ran for a long time. They all requested Shalini for singing a song. First she hesitated but gave up before non stop insist especially when Adi requested her.....
"Har ghadi badal rahi hai roop zindagi
Chaaon hai kabhi kabhi hai dhoop zindagi
Har pal yahan jee bhar jio
Jo hai sama kal ho na ho......."
Adi whispered in her ear; "Why you sung this instead of thousand romantic songs ?"
"Donno, man kiya ye gaane ka"
They drank (except Abhi and Shalu) almost 4–5 pegs with snacks made by Abhi. The doctor was continuously praising Abhi for the tasty dishes. He could control the admiration another time but vodka took him on higher state. Shalini was watching the back pattings silently. Though she knows Abhi is loyal to Mayank but couldn't trust her own partner. Also a certain insecurity and mood swing problems occurrd in her recently.
Her tolerance level crossed when snacks chocked in Adi's throat and Abhi made him drink water. Adi too held Abhi's wrist while drinking water, didn't notice for once Shalini was worriedly offering him water from beside.
"Thanks Abhi, tumhare haath ke paani ke bina mar hi jaata aaj"
"Kuch bhi devar ji......"
Abhi couldn't complete his sentence, Shalini pushed him away from Adi and threw all the water on his face. Mayank was roaming for network, he returned to them hearing the bustle and saw Adi helping fallen Abhi to stand up and cursing Shalini;
"Kya ho jaati hai tumhe achanak ? Yun girayi kiun Abhi ko ?"
Shalini hissed --- "Abhi Abhi Abhi!!! Why are you so worried for that whore ? (To Abhi) And you boy-hunter fucker! Aren't you satisfied with sucking Mayank ? Now planning to snatch Adi too from me ?"
"What are you saying Shalini ? I thought you're changed...."
"I wished to be changed but you bitch... you couldn't change your whoring tendancy!! For the last time I warn you keep away your dirty ass from Adi, understand son of a minx!!!" Shalini shouted raising a finger on Abhi.
His eyes got wet with baseless blame. He suddenly turned back and started walking towards dark narrow path. Mayank was dumbfounded to react pn Shalu but followed Abhi in the hill road. Before going Ai gnashed just some words --- "I wished to kill this grumpy girl!" --- which was heard to none but Darshan.
"Jaa dafa ho jaa bitch...... saale gold digger...... street whore....."
Shalini was busy in shouting too much or she she wouldn't stop if a hard slap wasn't delivered by Adi.
"Whom are you cursing bitch ?" Adi's glare and husky voice made her afraid at first... "he's far far sacred than you. At least he never tries to part a happy couple!! Don't even dare to take his name in your dirty mouth!"
"Adi...." covering her slapped cheek Shalini started sobbing.... "Wh...what had I done ? Nothing but begged for love.... Mayank loved him so I went away from them naa ? But you ? Why are you clinging with him ? It hurts me Adi.... I can't tolerate my beloved with others.... why you do that ? Aren't you engaged with me ? Aren't you in love with mm...."
"Shut up!!! Love ? Love ? That holy word's not suitable to you. What's love if you can't respect an innocent boy who is loved by your ex-beloved and respected to your current partner ? How can I love a disgusting girl like you ? I did all for Abhi, yes Abhi. To distract you from Mayank, to remove your unholy shadow from their household I drank the poison named Shalini. Fucked your dirty ass....!!"
"Chup ho ja Adi!" Darshan yelled, "nashe me kuch bhi bole jaa raha hai!! Shalini, tum tent ke andar jao"
"Nahi mujhe bolne de Daru... iss chudail ki liye apni zindagi barbaad kiya maine. Socha tha sudhar jayegi.... galat tha me.... saali chudail chudail hi reh gayi. Kabhi nahi badlegi ye... dekha Abhi ko kaise insult ki ye ? I can't tolerate Abhi's sorrow yaar... bas use isse bachane ki liye main bali ka bakra bana...... zindagi bhar mujhe ise jhelna padega Daru..... that bitch ruined my life!!"
Adi wasn't in himself. Vodka's effect plus Abhi's tearful eyes made him mad. Otherwise he wouldn't such rude on Shalini. Doctor spit aside and slowly went beneath a willow tree.
Shalini said to Daru, "Uska dhyan rakho Darshan" before going to her tent.
