Evening's gloom covered the area, partial moon and thousand stars glittered the sky. Some lampposts lightened in the roads. A bizzare melancholy spread in the surroundings.
"Ab mujhe jaana hoga Mayank" Abhi stood up bit stopped with Mayank's call.
"Par me tumhe sath le jaane ke liye aaya hu Abhi"
Abhi surprisingly turned back.
"Yes, mei apni galti sudharne aaya hu. Now I'm self-dependant, saalo pehle jo vachan tumhe diya tha vo ab nibhaunga"
Abhi smirked in sorrow -- "Waqt badal gaya hai, responsibilities badh gaya hai. Ab vo bachpana nahi chalti"
"I'll take care both of our families Abhi, mai puri taiyari ke sath aaya hu tumhe le jaane ke liye"
Mayank came and held Abhi's hands, but Abhi harshly freed himself.
"It's not possible Mayank. I won't nurture hope again"
"Didn't you ever dream for my returning ? Wasn't it a hope ? And you just said that you know I can't cheat you, then ? How can you refuse me when I came back to heal your every wound ? And......mine too"
"Don't trap me in emotion please...... I'm sad for what happened to you, I can understand your pain too but.... am not ready to..... chalta hu"
Abhi started walking. Mayank shouted from behind;
"To sun lo! Main aaya tha tumhare liye, khudko settle kiya tha tumhare liye taaki koi hume rok na paaye... agar tum mera sath nahi doge to...... to mai wapas jaunga hi nahi, yahin marunga. Kiyunki tumhare alawa mera ab koi ummid nahi gai Abhi..... samajh gaye!!!"
