Nate was a Human who lost his parents in the explosion, he was attacked by a Oni until he was saved by The Blasters, he soon learns something about his family tree and well soon realize he is The Next Yokai Emperor.
Nate slowly wakes up and looks around to see no one around but realizes he is in the hospital, he slowly gets up and started walking around to see if he could find something that can make him remember what happened and how he ended up in the Hospital, he looks at the TV, shocked he found his clothes and quickly put them on and headed out the door, when he exit out from the Hospital and went straight back to his home, he saw that his home is in ruins, everything he remembered with his parents are now gone by the ashes of the house that was once his home.
Nate: No... (Tears coming out from his eyes) my home... is gone...
He slowly looks around and dicks through the ashes, until he found a photo of him and his parents.
Nate: first Katie and my friends are angry with me for no reason, and now... my parents are dead... and my home... is gone... (Looks at The Photo)
After searching through the ashes, he started walking away, as he did so... everything started turned gray.
Nate: What's going on?
Just them he hears giant footsteps, he then feels shivering and slowly turns around.
He looks up to see A Giant Oni with redskin, one horn, and holding The Kanabo.

Nate immediately started running away while The Oni Chases after him.
The Oni throws his weapon at Nate, he wasn't able to dodge it and was hit by the Kanabo, he falls on the ground and The Oni stopped and grab his weapon.
Nate wasn't able to move and saw The Oni was about to use his Kanabo to kill him until five spirits attacked the Oni causing him to turn around.
He slowly closes his eyes and was knocked out.
Hours later, he wakes up on the couch and saw nine spirits and quickly gets up.
????: He's Up!
Nate: Where am I?! (Shocked)
????: You're at The Blasters House.
Nate: What?
He Looks Around to see he is in The Lobby of The Blasters House.

????: you were attacked by a Yokai in The Human Realm, if it wasn't for them, you could have been killed.
Nate: Who are you?

Whisper: Yokai are Spirits, Monsters, Demons, and Ghosts from Japanese folklore.
Nate: and that ogre that tried to kill me was a Yokai? (Looks at Whisper)
Whisper: Yes, however his kind are known as Oni, Japanese Ogres or Dmeons.
Nate: why did he attack me?
Whisper: it probably thought you were a bad boy, although they usually kill humans during the time before technology was invented.
Nate: and who are they?
Whisper: Meet The Blasters...
Nate: Who?
