chapter 16~ tarot death

for the first time in awhile you were awake before sebastian. you did take a second to look at him, sure he was cute and sweet. but in a sense you felt like you craved more. so your only choice was to leave like you had planned anyway. 

you got dressed in your best running outfit. snow or not, it wasnt going to stop you. tom had met you in the outskirts of hogwarts, and you were both off. 

"when jax told me about this, i thought it was a bad idea" tom spoke. "you think this whole family comes up with bad ideas" you said back. he only just looked at you. 

but when you got there jax was already there waiting. "im wearing green, fuck this hufflepuff yellow" he said opening the door. "they arent here yet, so just go into your room and get ready" he smiled while he talked to tom. 

you got dressed. "jax i need a zip up" you yelled running down the stairs so he could zip the back. it was a silk forest green, slim, elegant. paired with your silver jewelry and your black heels. stood for everything your family stood for. 

they werent poor, but they werent the richest. they had good money, just choosed to live like peasants. all since your father died. and your step father was a deadbeat. 

so when you heard their voices chatter you got mad. "oh jax, you brought tom" your mothers voice rang, it was loud and screechy. "we lied and told them your sister was a slytherin, play it up please" your stepdads voice rang. 

you waited more and more, until you couldnt. you came down and everyone just sort of looked at you. "why is she here jax" your mother asked. "i invited her, shes my sister" he spoke out. "shes cursed" abby said 

jax hugged you and the look on their eyes was funny, shocked even. "shes not cursed anymore, tried to tell you" jax spoke with a smile. "doesnt matter, shes still with rookwood" abby chimed in. "rookwood is gone, i defeated him with tom" you said getting even more of a shocked look. 

"since you know, you abandoned me, i knew you wouldnt know" you cocked your head a little. "my little slytherin" you mother tried to get close to you only for you to use your hand to cast a spell to push her away before she got to close. 

"she can wield with her hands affectively" you stepfather spoke. "silently at that" your mother added. "they dont teach that until year 6, nonverbal spells" abby chimed in. "and they dont teach wandless magic at all, whats your point abby" you intervened. 

and then the door knocked. you had opened it for them. "you know, your not supposed to use magic outside of hogwarts" you mother spoke snarky. "and you know i could kill you with the drop of a pin" you said back. "you must be the gaunts, i apologize for my wife and this child" he smiled shaking their hands. 

"and you marry off your son why?" you had turned to look at them. "shes a pureblood slytherin, whats it to you" his mother asked. you only laughed. "heres your update, abby, shes a gryffindor, sorted into it. the only true slytherins here are me and jax, my mother paid for jax to be sorted into hufflepuff, also shes a 3rd year who hasnt been to school all year" you smiled at her. 

she looked shocked, and then she looked at your mother. you had used another spell to shoot her away and into a wall. "so this is your choice isnt it, i trust you wouldnt do it" you said. and now they are looking at you funny, for casting a spell with your hands and not a wand. 

but the more it went on the more you had to use your wand and your hand at the same time. and once both of the adults were knocked out you turned back to them. "you look like youve seen a ghost, do you need a drink?" you asked sinisterly, but you couldnt help it. 

they were shocked by the way you can Duo wield. with a hand and a wand. you possessed power they wanted for their family, you were a slytherin, you were ominis age.
