chapter 14~ patience

you had been in a slump for a couple of days, a week at most. and most took notice, never wanting to leave your bed, or do anything with anyone. without rookwood you felt like you had no purpose in a way. for the past 2 years basically you were doing shit with rookwood. 

so when rookwood existed to you no more, you sort of felt useless. sebastian and garreth were both the first to notice such. low energy, sleeping more, eating less. 

"maybe shes just upset" poppy spoke to the group. "you think she misses him?" natty asked "how could she miss a man like that" anne was quick with her responses. 

"your all overthinking it" ominis added to the conversation. "after a long talk, i came up with i have no idea she talks in riddles" sebastian spoke out. "she feels like all her new free time is stressful, she feels in a sense no purpose in her life anymore" ominis corrected sebastian. 

"she feels like she has no purpose because she doesnt have the means to be evil anymore?" anne asked. "she likes being active, perhaps i can do more with my errands" natty laughed. 

"no no, cause your on to something" garreth chimed in "she loved working at the three broomsticks, like adored it" garreth added. "oh right, she always seemed so happy to be there" sebastian chimed in. 

"food disposal" you said making garreth look at you. "you barely ate anything love" he said looking at you. "lost my appetite. finish it for me"  you said handing him your basically full plate. you walked away but they all stood there watching you. 

"you know, i start to worry" poppy spoke only to look at amit who was walking up. "i just witnessed y/n take 2 bites, nearly came back out and she was gone" amit spoke looking at all the worried faces. 

"i fear we will be going after school" natty said while looking around. "sirona said i could be a dish runner" garreth smiled whipping off his robes shoulder.  "as if" sebastian spoke slightly pushing him "we all know im jut about better then everyone" he added

so when classes were over anne dragged you to your room. "i thought this would make you feel better" anne spoke to you holding up your old uniform. "and i know its snowing, so i figured you could wear....this jacket" she spoke holding up a very heavy jacket. 

you had no choice but to wear, she was basically forcing you. "and natty brought up running, she said she wanted you to run to hogsmeade with her for an errand. meet here at the north exit" anne smiled walking out the door. 

as much as you didnt want to, you couldnt bare the thought of leaving natsai out there alone. so when you walked up she was waiting for you. "i see you have you shoes for running" she smiled you looked down to see her still in school shoes. 

"nothing better to wear?" you asked. "i havent had a chance to get some" she smiled. so when she started to jog you joined. "i figured this would be good for both of us, i needed to keep my stamina up" natty spoke to you running in front only for you to catch up to her rather easy. 

"my my, you have speed" she giggled running at her top pace only for you to show no effort keeping up with her. when she went to the clothes place you had picked out her shoes. "these are good for running" you spoke holding up just a regular pair.  

"what about yours?" she asked. "custom made, 5kilo weights in each" the lady spoke. "weights?" natty asked only earning you to take off your shoe to let her hold it. 

"you did shrink in size when you did, due to the lift they gave you. "these certainly do have weight" she spoke handing it back to you. you put it on and she chose a shoe more her style. 

once all was good she brought you to the three broomsticks and everyone was there. ominis, sebastian, garreth, poppy, anne, and amit. 

you sat down at the tables with them. natsai was talking about your height, saying you were short and it was rather cute. sebastian was talking to ominis, poppy was talking to amit.
