Spock sees Avilasa point to the screen that shows the information about the planet Persephone III he looks up at it and says "fascinating"  they hear Una say through the com "a large quantity of water vapor from the comet is entering the planet's atmosphere"  Spock replies "if I'm not mistaken, this will permanently change the atmospheric composition of Persephone III"  Christopher asks "change it how?"  Spock replies "reducing the planets aridity will make it more amendable to plant growth, agriculture and, one might surmise, societal development"  Christopher asks "so.... did it actually "bring life"?"  Ortegas says "don't tell me the Space Monks were actually right"  Avilasa chuckles Spock feels Avilasa grip his shoulder gently and he sees what looked to be a mother and child of what he believes is the species on the planet holding hands as they look up at the rain that is falling with laughter and smiles the next sight he saw was just as beautiful for it was the comet as it passed by the planet and leaving a trail of what looked like the Earth's Aurora Borealis  "I thought you'd like to see that"  she says softly then he hears Christopher say softly through the com "yes, thank you"  and he smiles for he realizes that she uses him as a connector of sorts to Christopher and the others and she must have shown Christopher the same image he saw through the Viewscreen the odd thing was it wasn't a satellite view like he showed at the beginning but more like they were right there with the Deleb celebrating along with them so he wondered how she was able to "the comet! the comet showed you those images!"  Spock says softly with a tone of realization Avilasa nods with a smile "how!?!"  he asks "I guess we had a greater understanding of one another than I thought"  she replies he smiles.... when Spock's shift was over he heads to Avilasa's quarters he rings her doorbell and hears her say "come in T'Gai"  he smiles a small smile then walks in and stares in awe at the forest within "my bathroom's a bit more "normal" didn't want people to think I'm spoiled by putting a waterfall in where my shower is but this is more comfortable for me and as much of a "home" as I can make it"  she tells him he nods then asks "how long have you been on the Enterprise!?"  she replies "since Christopher was plunged back into it when his "Number One" had "disappeared".."  his eyes widen in surprise then he asks softly "how could I not know that!?!"  she replies "I told him it would be wise not to inform you"  he looks at her curiously and asks "why!?"  she replies "I didn't want to become a distraction when you had something more important to do"  he nods "you weren't the only one who didn't know"  she says after a small pause he replies with a half smile "true"  she says "I don't think anyone believes I belong here La'an even commented on how she "doesn't know why I'm here".."  he asks "when did she say that!?"  she replies "when you were in the meeting with Una, Christopher and Nyota"  he opens his mouth to speak then closes it when she says "I can see why she thought that after all I wasn't much help during the Away Mission more of a hinderance in her mind I would think but it was Uhura's first and I wasn't going to "give everything away" for it wouldn't have helped her heck none of you even followed through with my "clues".."  he looks at her curiously ".."I should have brought my lute" and "music is a Universal language".."  she tells him he nods then smiles "oh dear it's already started!"  she teases "what!?"  he asks "you always smile more when I'm around people might start believing you've "finally" embraced your "dark side".... I-I mean human side"  she says he chuckles "Nyota knew and she even thanked me for it"  she says he looks at her curiously "why I didn't "put in my two cents" as the humans say every second we were a part of the Away Team"  she says he nods she gives him a tour of every area of her quarters yes even the bedroom just not the bed.... if you know what I mean.... he smiles when he sees Fox Masks and other forms of art that were of foxes that had Uhura's signature on them decorating her bathroom walls, the lute he gifted her for one of her birthdays in her bedroom which is also slightly "normal looking" for it had a "normal" bed in it with a "normal" bedside table and a small corner that had the lute in it though it wasn't "tucked away" it was displayed quite beautifully if he did say so himself for it had a canopy made out of Vulcan fabric which he was told his mother had gifted her when she had visited his home planet during her vacation days at the Academy even her kitchen was "normal looking" they make supper together and eat at her small dining table within her kitchen once again in silence but he liked her type of silence for it wasn't awkward in any way though it wasn't really all that silent for they could hear the "music" of her forest flow around them they just couldn't think of anything to talk about he doesn't even ask about her relationship with Uhura for he could tell it was good for her and they had made each other happy what he was grateful for was the fact that they could stay friends after they broke up "this is nice"  Spock says breaking the silence "yes it was though I would suggest we not make it a everyday thing"  Avilasa replies he nods with sad eyes and says "I concur"  Avilasa says "above all else you are still my friend T'Gai that will hopefully never change"  he smiles then goes back to his meal for just like Uhura he loves her cooking as well "I think you missed something during the tour though"  she says he looks at her curiously "look up"  she says softly he looks up and notices that her whole ceiling looks like the sky with clouds and a "setting" sun and he stares at it in awe then asks curiously "your magic!?!"  she nods and replies "no offense to the computers hologram program it's the best way for my plants to get their true nutrients it even rains when they need to be watered"  after a small pause she says "yes I know that "just like you" the computer can't get offended and no I'm not "wasting" any of my magic so it doesn't weaken me or make me tired even though I "keep it up" all day and night, this is just a small example of what I can do"  he smiles....
