Dev strolled through the newly opened boutique of her fashion label, Saawariya, in Mumbai. The showroom gleamed with elegance, adorned with racks of vibrant ethnic wear and shelves filled with accessories that reflected Devanshi's unique design aesthetic.

"Good Morning Devanshi Ma'am. I am Chetna and this is my assistant Jayesh." Devanshi acknowledged the two, "The rest of the team is eager to meet you. Our designers Daisy, Jyoti and Ritu. customer managers Geetika, Sonal, Rupesh and Madhur. We have a few inters coming in the afternoon. Ii would be an honor to have you guide them."

Devanshi nodded. "Bilkul. Kab aa rahe hai?"

"11 baje maam." Chetna answered. Devanshi made her way to the director's office and settled herself in. She was busy making corrections in a design when suddenly her phone buzzed, disrupting her reverie. Glancing at the screen, she saw Shubman's name flashing, and she answered with a grin.

"Hi, Shub," Devanshi greeted warmly, her voice echoing through the showroom. "How's your day going?" They made it a routine to call each other daily to make up for the time spent apart.

"Hey, ," Shubman's voice came through the phone, devoid of affection. "Just another day in the field, but thinking about you makes it infinitely better." His sarcastic approach made her scoff.

Devanshi chuckled softly. " So, have you finalized the guest list for our engagement ceremony?"

Shubman sighed playfully. "Nahi , time hi nahi mil raha. Abhi GT ki itni sari meetings hai aur test match is near too."

"Koi baat nahi. Ho jaega sab acche se" Devanshi agreed, a softness in her voice. "Engagement mai 40-50 logo se zyada nahi bulane hai. To immediate family and friends ki list bana lo. And then we can call literally everyone for the wedding because I wouldn't step back from a big fat Indian wedding."

As they continued to discuss their plans, Devanshi couldn't help but steal glances at the elegant ensembles around her. Each outfit seemed to whisper stories of celebration and joy, mirroring the excitement she felt for her upcoming engagement.

"Shubman, come over after lunch so we can finalize the outfits. Theek?"

"Ha okay," Shubman remarked, "Can I bring Ishaan too. He's very excited to meet his sautan."

"Oh, aesa! To humari sautan ko bhi sath mai le aana." They shared a fit of laughter together.

Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of the interns, and Devanshi excused herself briefly to mentor them.

Devanshi called back Shubman, her excitement palpable. "Sorry about that. Where were we?"

"We were discussing the menu for the engagement ceremony," Shubman replied, his voice filled with amusement. "But I think we got a bit sidetracked."

Devanshi laughed softly, shaking her head. "You're right. We'll have plenty of time to plan the menu later. Abhi jaldi aao."
