"I'm getting married." Corine pushed out causing her right hand man to slowly glance up from his phone and place his attention on her as they sat in the car waiting on Angelo.

"Huh?". He stared at her with his thick brows furrowed in confusion

"You heard what I said. I'm not repeating myself." She said, smacking her lips. Oak let out a hearty laugh. He certainly heard but wanted her to repeat herself.

Corine getting married was a funny subject to him. She wasn't wife material, in his opinion.

"Who would want to marry your crazy ass?." Oak chuckled once more while glancing at the people who passed right before them, heading inside the hospital. Corine rolled her eyes. He was having a good laugh out of this situation and she wasn't assumed. Nothing was funny.

"I can't get married?". She raised her brow in curiosity.

"You can but you just hard to deal with. Ain't no man want to be controlled by their woman".

"What?"  She jerked her head back, feeling offended, "I'm not controlling. Assertive sure but controlling, no". She denied, smacking her lips.

"That too. You just hard to deal with, man. Ain't nobody want that in a wife". He chuckled once more.

"Fuck you, as if you know what is wife material worthy." She spewed out, giving him the side eye.

"See man." Oak let out. At this point he was getting her rifled up and it was working. Corine didn't like her character being questioned. Sure, she was tough and rough around the edges but once you get to know, she was a sweetheart.

"Please be serious."

"I am. Whoever he is,  I feel bad for him. He's in for a ride. A rough one."

"As if you are any better." A scoff belted out her lips, "and don't say it like that".

"Nah, I know how I like my women and it's definitely not like you". Oak raised his hands up. The sound of her phone ringing halted their conversation causing her to pick it up.

"Yeah?". She answered, putting it on speaker.

Angelo's voice came through, asking, "where are you bro?".

"In the parking lot of the hospital, why?".

"I can't see your car."

"Just meet me by the entrance".

"Alright". He hung up on her.

"Rude ass". She muttered.

"Does your boyfriend know?". Oak inquired while glancing at Cori. She rolled her eyes and said

"He's not my boyfriend and It's none of his business".

"Hmm". Oak hummed and then left out chuckle.

"Your ass is starting to piss me off. Foreal." Cori snapped making him laugh even more.

She got out the car and walked ahead, leaving him behind.  She heard the car close indicating Oak was close by.
