"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today." He said kinda singing it.
"Nope, woke up just fine, but the fact that some dick named Luca was staring at my tits not 2 seconds ago...
The room went silent when my laugh got louder. I know this is Luca's doing. That stupid fuck just had to get back at me at a occasion like this. Now I have to fix this problem. Ugh.
I went up on the stage and took the mic in my hands. "That Ladies and gentlemen was the best prank of 2024" I said and finally the room was filled with some low laughs and also some fake chuckles. "I'm terribly sorry for wasting your time, but dont you think this was worth it?" I have to lie to these old fucks.
"And unfortunately this fake ball is coming to an end, me and my family is gonna leave shortly after this so you all are free to leave, thankyou" I said and with that some people started leaving one by one.
I could feel someone's sharp gaze on me but I choose to ignore it. I looked at Tyler and he was glaring at me. I bit the inside of my cheek to hide my smile 'cause I don't wanna anger him more.
"You seriously did this bells" he said looking disappointed which immediately took the smile off my face. I thought he will also think this is funny. I guess not.
"I didn't ty, I'll explain everything after we go home" I said.
"I don't wanna talk to you." He said and started walking towards the bathroom. Probably to wash up.
"Tyler, seriously, ty wait-" I called out but he didn't listen. Uhg.
"Aunty ella why is dady angry?" She asked her eyes barely open.
"I don't know baby" I sighed as I took her in my arms and waited for Tyler so we can go home together. After a while Tyler came back all washed up with new pair of clothes.
"Tyle-" i tried but he cut me off.
"Dont" he said taking sleeping ari from my arms. "I'm going home, you'll come by yourself right?" He didn't wait for my answer and left. I felt a pang in my heart. Tears sting my eyes while I tried to push them back but miserably failed.
Now, the ball was fully ruined, I know it was Luca's doing. I had to put on a show that this was a prank that I pulled.
he ruined the one and only day I wanted my brother to feel special. it did hurt me but come on what dosnt hurt me, but it hurt my brother which definitely hurt me.
After that the ball was over before it even started. I wanted my brother to have fun and forget his tensions tonight but instead I gave him more tension. *sigh* I'm disappointed in myself. Not luca, not Tyler, not the whole fucking universe but me.
I shouldn't have been a bitch to luca, most of all I shouldn't invited him after being a bitch to him. But.......
That dosnt mean I wont take my revenge from that dick. Speaking of which where even is he? I was roaming around the ballroom, watching my hired workers take the decorations off 'cause I didnt wanna go home right now.
The room was now fully empty no one but me. This is the way it always has been after mom and dad died. No one but me.
But out of nowhere I saw luca coming down for the stairs I immediately walk up to him and punched him square in the face.
"You fucking jerk, what the fuck were you thinking" I grunted. He wiped the blood that came out from his nose.
"I had to get revenge" he said, shrugging his shoulder casually. This bitch.
"Okay, well your gonna regret this, keep that in mind" I said before walking off not forgetting to bump his shoulder.
I drove home and saw the lights were on. What the hell is he doing up so late. Its 3 am for God's sake.
I took my keys out of my bag and opened the door. As soon as I took my heels off I was met with a bone crashing huy by my brother.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to lash out on you. I was just embarrassed. Please forgive me bells, I love you I'm sorry" he wispered
"Its okay, yeah? I dont blame you ty. It's okay, it wasn't your fault." I rubbed his back and his head. He pulled away and looked at me.
"Its okay, ty. Its alright" I reassured him. He nodded and wiped his eyes.
"But you still have some serious explaining to do" he said playfully trying to lift up the mood. I let out a little laugh.
"I know"
We both pull away. "I'll take a bath first, ari's asleep?" I asked. He nodded. "Okay"
I walked up to my room and put my phone on charging. I entered my bathroom and stood in front of the full view mirror. I took my makeup off and stripped out of my clothes and stepped into the warm bath.
*sigh* this feel nice. 🎶its me, myself and I🎶
It was a quite hectic day. And this ball was fully a disaster. Speaking of which how am I gonna get back at luca? I know nothing about that guy besides the fact that he's the leader of the Italian mafia.
Tomorrow I'm gonna do some searching maybe hacking too if I could just find something important to him I can get back at him using it as a bait.
After taking a long 1 hour bath I finally stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body I stepped in my big closet. And chose a pair of nightware.

After changing I went downstairs to see tyler sitting on the couch with the tv playing cars 1. Oh I love that movie.
I jumped on the couch beside him which startled him he smiled. He paused the movie and turned to me.
"So,?" He said. I took a deep breath. This is gonna be a long night. __________________________
