It was the first day of Janvi's internship and she was very excited.
She was interning under a criminal lawyer and was determined to learn a lot. She got up early, dressed perfectly in black and white and soon left for her day.
Besides internship the one thought that was high on her brain was Mihir. She was still unable to believe whatever happend the previous day. Lately, Mihir was an important part of her thoughts but today was different, today she thought very differently of him.
Brawling with her thoughts she finally reached her one month boss' office.
"Okay now focus..." Janvi thought before she pulled the big glass door of the building.
She was told to wait outside the main office before the Advocate arrived.
"Advocate R.krishnan.... deals in Civil criminal and Family matters..... Telengana high court...." Janvi read from the name plate on the door of the office.
Soon Adv. Krishnan arrived.
"Good morning sir......I am Janvi Agarwal......" Said Janvi
"Oh yes come Janvi....today is a very tiring day we have a lot to do....." Said Adv. Krishnan
Adv Krishnan gave Janvi a file to read while he made everything ready for a court trial. He was fighting a case of domestic violence where the wife had filed a case and he was defending her.
Janvi was busy the whole day following Adv. Krishnan. She attended a court trial, had several meetings, she didn't get time to look at her phone at all.
"Hey Janvi I think you should leave now it's 8pm already, it's your first day don't bother much." Said Adv Krishnan
"Thank you sir..." Said Janvi and left.
She finally got time to look at her phone to call her mother.
As soon as she opened the call logs to dial her mother's phone number she got a call.
It was Mihir. Janvi almost slipped her phone. She cleared her throat and picked the phone not knowing what to talk about.
"Hello.." said Janvi
"I am disappointed." Said Mihir
"What!?" Asked Janvi
"Don't you think you should have called me atleast once today...." Said Mihir
"Oh! Why should I?" Asked Janvi
"Dont act as if you don't remember anything." Said Mihir
"I am not acting....." Said Janvi
"Okay so nothing happened between us...I thought you proposed me...." Said Mihir
"Umm....it was not a proposal did it sound like one...." Said Janvi
"Yes, it did." Said Mihir
"Well even if it did I don't think you gave an appropriate reaction." Said Janvi
*Flashback*
Janvi was in his arms, for a moment she didn't even think what she said, when she finally realised her state she pushed mihir away and turned around.
"Umm I think I should leave..." Said Mihir
"Oh yes."
Mihir moved awkwardly towards the door.
"Hey..." Said Janvi
"Ohh....I.....I am sorry....I came by the window...." Said Mihir
"You can leave by the door....and jump from the 1st floor window." Said Janvi without looking at him
