NICK'S P.O.V.: I watched as Demi went to the bathroom and looked back at Elodie. She smiled big at me and I couldn't help but think about how similar she looked to Demi.
Nick: you truly are your mother's daughter...I hope that stays forever (I hugged the little girl and she laughed on my shoulder before I walked upstairs with her) Demi...you're there?
Demi: I'm on my way (she met us down the hallway and picked Elodie in her arms) what's the matter?
Nick: nothing...but now that you mentioned vacation I was just thinking...I haven't been able to go with my baby girl on any vacation, do you think we could go on a little trip? Even if it's just two days
Demi: oh, sure, she'd love to. When? (I bit my lip and shrugged)
Nick: now?
Demi: now...oh...I don't think she's that ready to be alone with you, just yet
Nick: come with us, actually I never thought of you not coming with us
Demi: somebody could see us, that's the only problem
Nick: look, as much as we'd like to keep her a secret, it's gonna blow up at some point. Why not now?
Demi: cause I don't want her face on the internet or people knowing our weak point
Nick: Demi, I get it, I really do. But still, we can't keep her a secret forever. She's two years old and for a while that worked but she's gonna have to go to school soon and...I wanna share my life with her and for it to happen, I need her to be able to go out anywhere with me
Demi: Nick, that's a risk
Nick: look, don't get me wrong but you're being a little paranoid...I promise Demi, she's gonna be sage outside. We won't even show her face if you don't want to, I don't think I want that anyways, but let me show her as my baby
Demi: what about Priyanka?
Nick: damn...Priyanka. Well, so, putting it clearly I can tell you what's not going to happen with her. Priyanka won't be the reason I lose more time with Elodie, and my relationship with her won't stop me either from presenting my daughter to the whole world.
Demi: okay then, I appreciate that. We can present her whenever you want to and we can go on that trip today if you want it
Nick: thank you, I promise we'll be fine (she nodded unsure and bit her lip)
Demi: that means I...gotta go back to the spotlight (I nodded slowly watching her reaction and she small smiled) that's okay, I kinda miss being able to do whatever I want to not caring about paps or even...singing
Nick: told you this is gonna be good for us all (she nodded again and smiled at me)
Demi: how do we do it?
Nick: let me make a post with you tagged in it, then, it's gonna blow up and everyone will want an interview. We'll choose someone to tell the news, and let it out in the world
Demi: Jimmy
Nick: that's for sure (we both nodded and she frowned)
Demi: what about the trip?
Nick: I'll buy everything today and tomorrow we'll go on that trip
Demi: okay, I trust you. Now, I'm gonna play with our baby while you start your plan (I smiled and kissed Elodie's forehead before walking back downstairs and grabbing my phone to make a post)

The world went crazy with the post. It was out and the speculation started. I knew a lot would be said about everything, so now it was time to get everything clarified.
I got a text from a lot of reporters but only replied to Jimmy. I told him I would go on a virtual meeting with him and read a letter to everyone. That he was allowed to ask 3 questions if he wanted to and he thanked me for choosing him.
I spent the rest of the morning getting ready for contacting Jimmy. He told me to record the interview in an hour. And that's what we did. I sat on Demi's desk and connected with him.
Nick: hello there
Jimmy: hi buddy, how's everything going?
Nick: wonderful actually. But I think I might have a little explaining to do (we laughed and he nodded)
Jimmy: you sure do
Nick: okay, if you allow me, I'd like to read a little something
Jimmy: it's your show, go ahead
Nick: okay (I grabbed a paper with everything written in it and sighed) As you all may know, ever since I've been a teenager I was always around Demi Lovato. We grew best friends, that was all and we loved it. During our tour together, wich was three years ago, our relationship changed a little bit leading us to casual date for a while. As much as we both felt good with it, some things just aren't meant to be in a moment, and life shows it. We didn't last enough to show it to the world, even. But God had a plan and we were in it. Demi got pregnant around that time. That being said, I guess you can assume I'm not that baby's uncle but her dad.
Jimmy: God damn (he whispered and I chuckled before reading)
Nick: Demi saw me starting a life with Priyanka, my wife, and so she chose to take care of our baby all alone. I now know about our baby, and am incredibly happy to, cause she's the sweetest. And that's entirely thanks to Demi, cause she's been the best mom to the baby girl. And she probably did better than I would've. I've chosen to stay on my baby's life, so I'll be spending a lot of time with both Demi and her. Don't be surprised, we're trying to create a family for our princess. Now, I hope y'all welcome Elodie Jonas Lovato with open arms and lots of love. Thanks for the support.
Jimmy: well...that's kind of a bomb (we laughed and I nodded)
Nick: yup
Jimmy: can I ask you some things?
Nick: sure
Jimmy: was that baby the reason of Demi's goodbye to the spotlight?
Nick: yeah, it was. And so, I wanna take this moment to please beg all the paps to not leak pictures of our daughter's face. We wanna be a normal family and give her the most calm life we can, at least until we change our minds. We don't aprove her face online. I hope everyone can respect it
Jimmy: of course, they all should. Now tell me Nick, did this affect your relationship with Priyanka?
Nick: no, not at all. It has nothing to do with my marriage
Jimmy: okay, so that means there was indeed something happening between you and Demi during the Future Now Tour? (We laughed)
Nick: I bet you can tell actually, it was. We were younger of course and that's on the past. We'll co-parent together as best friends, and also we hope nothing gets misunderstood about us
