"I didn't but I do think this is a great opportunity" she looked at him feeling guilty for not telling him right away

"What's wrong?" He asked her caressing her cheek

"It's something I've been thinking about telling you for a while," she admitted. "I was scared of your reaction"

Joshua grinned, reaching out to squeeze her hand in a gesture of support. "Well, you know I'm behind you one hundred percent," he said earnestly. "If this is something you wanna do, I support you"

"Even if it means we'll be apart for a while?" Yumi was feeling nervous

"It's life babe. It will suck but I won't ever be mad if you want to do something you love" Yumi couldn't help but smile at his words

"Thank you" she said sincerely. "It means a lot to me to have your support."

Joshua flashed her a warm smile in return, his eyes twinkling with warmth. "Always, Yumi," he replied softly. "I'll always be here to support you in whatever you choose to pursue."

"Even if I suck there?"

"You would never" he chuckles " have you spoken with Sunhee?"

"I did... she said I would always have a spot in her restaurant"

"Geonwoo would miss you and your banter"

"He would do a happy dance if I left" Yumi rolled her eyes

"That's a lie babe and you know it"

Joshua was leaning down when some girls open up the door.

"Sorry! We left our phone there after our practice" a young pretty girl said bowing

"Don't worry" Joshua said " They're rookies" he said to Yumi

Yumi face went pale and distant herself from him but he whispered at her ear "they have a contract sweets. They can't say anything"

Two of the girls entered the room to grab the phone, they passed through the couple.

"Ugh... she looks so dull" the girl remarked casually, her eyes flickering briefly to Yumi before returning to Joshua. "He's too good for her"

Although she whispered to her friend Yumi heard her and her heart sank at the girl's words, her insecurities bubbling to the surface. She couldn't help but feel a ping of sadness at the thought of not measuring up to Joshua's standards, especially in the eyes of others.

Sensing Yumi's distress, Joshua turned to her with a concerned expression, his eyes softening with affection. Without a word, he reached out to gently cup her face in his hands, tilting her chin up to meet his gaze.

"Hey, don't listen to her," Joshua murmured softly, his voice filled with warmth. "You are made for me"

"Book worthy" she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I needed to hear that."

With a tender smile, Joshua leaned in to press another gentle kiss to Yumi's lips, his touch sending shivers down her spine.

He glared at the girls " Do you need anything else?" They shook their heads " leave."

After they left, Yumi left Joshua at work with the promise he would go to her house today just like he promised.

His mom left this morning and he was ready for alone time with her.

After a long day, both of them settled into the cozy confines of her apartment for their much-anticipated cinema and tacos night.

With the TV ready and a table laden with all the fixings for a delicious taco feast, they were ready for a night of laughter, relaxation, and good food.

"So, what movie should we start with?" Joshua asked, casting an appraising eye over the screen infront of them. "Something classic or maybe a recent one?"

Yumi chuckled, leaning back against the cushions of the couch as she pondered their options. "How about a classic comedy?" she suggested "I could use a good laugh tonight."

"I can call Dk" he said making her chuckle "see?"

"You're the funny one Mister Mermaid" Yumi looked around "you actually been normal"

"Wanna go to the shower and do something crazy?" he replied

"Movie babe"

"Ok,ok" he grabbed the remote 'Train to Busan...I haven't seen this one in ages!"

"That's not comedy"

"You laughed already... and maybe with horror you'll might hug me"

As they settled in to watch the movie, their bodies close to each other, while enjoying their quality alone time.

But as the movie reached its climax, a sudden rumble echoed through the apartment, causing both Yumi and Joshua to jump in surprise. "Was that your stomach or mine?" Yumi asked, her eyes widening with amusement.

Joshua laughed, his cheeks flushing slightly with embarrassment. "I think it might have been mine," he admitted sheepishly. "Can we attack the taco table?"

"I'll make you one"

Watching her preparing his taco, Joshua couldn't stop smiling and laughing as she explain what she was doing.

"Sweets, do you think we should start a taco truck?" Joshua asked, a playful twinkle in his eye as he piled on an extra helping of guacamole onto his taco. "I mean, we could be millionaires"

Yumi couldn't help but laugh at the suggestion, shaking her head in amusement. "As tempting as that sounds, I think I'll stick to the kitchen at Sunhee's," she replied, her lips quirking into a smile. "But hey, if you ever want to be my sous chef, you're more than welcome!"

With a mock bow, Joshua grinned. "It would be an honor, milady," he declared, his voice laced with exaggerated formality.

And so they did, savoring each bite of their homemade tacos and reveling in the simple pleasure of being together. As the night wore on, they went to sleep together after Yumi feeling tired.
