Junior year is officially one week away. By this time next week, I will become a student of New Grove College and Career Academy. Commonly know as the Grove amongst the masses. The average tuition cost to send your child to this school for one academic year is near 40k. In my case, I received a merit-based scholarship that will allow me to attend cost free for the last two years of my high-school career
The school is most known for their sports programs, and college preparation. Everyone who comes out of the Grove is guaranteed to be accepted into any college they apply. Even still, they are qualifications a students must adhere to even apply for the Grove. Celebrity's kids, actually celebrity kids, and just rich kids in general, are just a few demographics of what the Grove is made up of. As for race - Well we're in Atlanta, of course it's predominately black
Two days ago I decided to upload my first Youtube video. I went to Instagram to do advertising and I know for a fact I reached acquaintances from my old school. Speaking of my best friends, I'm currently getting ready to go shopping with them for back to school. Which is also a perfect opportunity to vlog content for my next video. I'm going to do a haul for everything I bought

When I was 5 years old, I told my Mama I wanted my hair liked hers and my hair has been sisterloc'd ever since. Since then though, My Mama combined her locs to give her regular locs. They are still smaller than the usual size but they look like healthy long locs. My locs are long as well - waist length. I haven't cut them but I know that time is coming soon because my locs will sweep the floor if I don't.
Today, my hair is in a half down - half up bun, with two twist left out in the front with big brown beads at the tip of them. For my outfit, I decided to do something simple. Aunisti also suggested I make my first Instagram post today so it'll be simple, yet cute.
I like to describe my style in comparison to the music I listen to. I like to think I give off Neo-Soul or just Soul in general, and a cool 90's vibe. But today, I'm sporting a oversized red and black racer jacket. A fitted skirt with a thick black belt. My shirt is a white cropped crewneck. I only wear gold jewelry and today I decided to stack my bangles and necklaces. I didn't have on a lot of the rings because my nails aren't done but I still graced my fingers with some gold. And lastly, I got gold hoops in my ears

I grabbed my all black Micheal Kors bag and packed all the nessccary items inside. The bag wasn't big but it was big enough to carry the essentials comfortably.
