Naging busy ang buong mag-hapon ni Mandy sa Hospital, it's been three days mula nung unang pagkikita nila ni Trey, and yes nasundan pa iyon na ilang beses, syempre ay suhisyon na naman ng Lolo niya.
Last night they just have dinner and obviously they just said "hi" "hello" to each together, they just eat yun lang. After that they just go on their separate ways.
Siya man ay hindi nakaligtas sa panunukso ng mga kapwa doctor at nurse. Pinag-kalat kasi ng lukaret na si Gabbie ang date nila ni Trey.
Simula nun ay hindi na siya tinantanan ng mga ito na kelan daw nila makikilala ang binata they even said na masyado siyang tahimik, wala daw silang kamalay-malay na engaged na pala siya.
She's in her office reading some files from her patients when someone knocked on her door.

"Hi Doc Suarez, Doctor Gatchalian was looking for you, she said pumunta ka daw sa conference room."
"Okay Marie thank you " she thanked the nurse then got up from her sit. Inasahan na niya iyon lalo pa palagi siyang kinukulit nito tungkol sa medical mission na siya daw ang gusto pumalit dito.
She already had in mind na tungkol ito sa request sa kaniya ng kaibigan noong birthday niya. She sighed then sumakay na ng elevator patungo sa fifth floor kung nasaan ang conference room.
EGMC is one of the biggest and prestigious hospital in the country, founded by Raffy and Gabbie's great grandfather Emilio Gatchalian in the 1940's after the second world war.
Bukas ang elevator sa fifth floor at kumatok kaagad siya ng marating ang conference room. Bumukas ang pinto at si Raffy ang nabungaran niya.
"Hi Mandy, come in." Pag-pasok sa loob ay sinalubong siya ng matamis na ngiti ng dalawang ginang, tantya niya ay nasa late forties and fiftees ang mga ito.
"Mandy I want you to meet Mrs. Canlas from Philippine Red Cross and Mrs. Lanita for International Health Cooperation. They are the head for operation in conflict in Chocó Colombia.
And they here to meet you."
Pakilala sa kaniya ni Raffy. She looks at them at tinanggap ang pakikipag-kamay ng dalawang ginang.
"Nice to meet you po." Magalang niyang tugon.
"Kami man ay nagagalak na makilala ka Ms. Suarez, Marami kaming magandang narinig mula sa'yo."
"We conduct a little background check on you Ms. Suarez and we are so impressed specially after reading your resume." Anang matanda habang hawang ang isang folder na sa tingin niya ay resume niya.
Tumingin siya sa kaibigan na ngayon ay pa-inosenteng ngumiti. She doesn't send any resume, alam na niya kung sino ang nag-dala niyon.
"Ah thank you." Tipid niyang ngiti.
"Hindi na kami magpapasikot-sikot pa Ms. Suarez, after reading your resume Wala na kaming maisip na candidate na pwedeng piliin. Your credentials are enough." Saad ni Mrs.Canlas
"Specially your experience in medical mission here in the Philippines."
Napabuntong hininga siya it's overwhelming for her to see how this people really appreciate her work. But it was so sudden, dahil kay Raffy na pabigla-bigla.
"You see Ms. Suarez, we need a doctors and nurses that has a compation for those civilian, the innocent victim of this conflict between the rebels and the government of Colombia, they are desperately needs a help. They need medicine and medical treatment from people like you. And it's the only we can give and support them."
Sobrang nahahabag siya tuwing nakikita ang sinasapit ng mga inosenteng nadadamay sa giyera na sinumulan ng mga rebelde laban sa gobyerno ng Colombia. Ayon sa datos umabot na sa limang daan ang mga sibilyan na namatay, kabilang ang mga bata at mga babae. Hindi pa kasama ang mga sundo sa datos na iyon.
