Chapter 7

Leon struggled as the soldiers handcuffed him to the floor of Wesker's office. Wesker entered the room and ordered the soldiers out of it.
"How disappointing, Leon. I truly thought we could have worked together. We would have been unstoppable." Scolded Wesker.
"I would never work with you, you fucking monster." Leon spat.
"What a shame, Leon. You know, I really didn't want to do this." Wesker pulled a revolver out of his coat and pointed it at Leon's face from across the room.
Leon closed his eyes, hoping that Y/N would make it out even if he didn't. He heard two gunshots and winced, but quickly realized he hadn't been shot. He opened his eyes and saw that a man had shot Wesker and pressed a button that had unlocked his handcuffs. Then he looked down and saw Y/N laying down in front of him with a bullet wound in their chest. They had jumped in front of the bullet.
