After an hour of painstakingly getting through the highly secure Umbrella offices and killing Umbrella soldiers, Leon finally made it to the cell they were holding Y/N in. Y/N was slumped behind metal bars with fresh bruises covering their face and arms. Leon ran up to them and touched their face gently through the bars.
"Who did this to you." Leon whispered furiously.
"I'm fine Leon. But you have to get out of here." Replied Y/N. "They're coming back soon and they will take you too."
"Why did you come with me?" Asked Leon. "You knew I was Umbrella and you still trusted me. Why?"
Y/N paused. "Because I could tell you were truly good. I could see it in your eyes. You wanted to save me."
Leon sighed. "But why didn't you tell me about Umbrella? I would have believed you. We could have destroyed Umbrella together."
"Because this information is a death sentence, Leon. I mean look at me. I couldn't have risked your life too."
"Why?" Asked Leon.
"Because I... I lo..."
Umbrella soldiers burst into the room from behind the cell and from where Leon was standing.
"No! Leon!" cried Y/N.
"Y/N!" Leon yelled as the soldiers grabbed Y/N and Leon and dragged them into separate rooms.
