"Are you coming to the beach too? I thought you had to meet up with your basketball team," she questioned, getting up from the couch. He left the bag on the kitchen island and went back up upstairs, not giving a response. Shrugging it off and went upstairs, seeing an Eunji with wet jet black hair in an oversized sleeve shirt and a pair of shorts knocking on her twin brother's bedroom door
"Jake! They're here!" she exclaimed, looking back at the phone, the screen giving her face an artificial light.
"Let's go Gaeul, Sunghoon's car is in front of the house," she said, turning around to see her, dragging her body downstairs.
Getting hit with the bright sun, illuminating over the house. Eunji went inside before Gaeul, being in the middle, sitting by a sleeping Niki. She laughed at the boy. Gaeul saw the vacated passenger side. As she placed her hand on the handle, Jake had beaten her, getting into the passenger side swiftly, not making any interaction with her. She furrowed her eyebrows, sighing at his silence towards her. Going back to the seats Eunji and Niki were in. she closed the door quickly, adjusting her feet in a comfortable position
"We're all good?'' Sunghoon asked, turning around towards the trio. The two best friends nodded, the park boy chuckled at the sight of the youngest in the friend group dozing off, slouching on the window with his mouth open a bit

"Did you have to submerge me underwater Niki!" exclaimed Eunji, jumping out of the water, splashing all her friends around her
"you put hot sand in my shoes! I had to wake up with sand in my sneakers! It's going to take forever to remove all the sand out of my sneakers, thanks to you!" he argued back
"Shoot, I forgot the drinks in the trunk," Sunghoon said looking through the huge plastic bag filled with all beach supplies for the nine friends. including the four friends, Heesung, Sunoo, Mina, and Jungwon who had come later to the beach.
"I'll go and get it,'' Gaeul offered, getting up from the sun bed. The Tae girl, Sunghoon, and Jake were the only ones on the land, as the rest of the six friends stayed in the clear blue ocean.
"Okay, Jake go with her," Sunghoon nodded in agreement, demanding Jake to go with her
"I'll go by myself, you stay here," he said in a cold tone, ironically the sun was shining him the most, as if he was the main character in a story.
