Asher couldn't help but crack a small smile at Damian's attempt to inject some levity into the situation.

Damian expressed his desire to leave the hospital. Asher couldn't help but chuckle softly, understanding his sentiments. "I know hospitals can be pretty boring. But the nurse just needs to make sure you're all good to go," Asher reassured him, his voice tinged with a mix of amusement and concern.

Without further ado, Asher reached for the call button, alerting the nurse to come check up on Damian. Moments later, the nurse arrived, a warm smile on her face as she assessed Damian's vitals and the machines monitoring his condition.

After a thorough examination, the nurse turned to Damian and Asher, a reassuring look in her eyes. "Everything looks perfectly fine, boys. We just need to keep Damian here until Doc Liam arrives to fully ensure there are no complications. But I don't foresee any issues. You two have been great support for each other," she commended them, her words instilling a sense of relief in Asher and Damian.

The sudden commotion at the door caught everyone's attention. Aiden burst into the room, breathing heavily, with security guards in pursuit. Asher quickly intercepted the guards, calmly informing them that everything was under control and they could leave.

With a smirk, Aiden waved the guards off and turned his attention to Damian, rushing to his side. He bombarded his friend with a flurry of questions, concern evident in his voice. "Damian, how you feeling? Are you okay? I was so happy when I heard you woke up."

Damian looked up at Aiden, his eyes lighting up at the sight of his friend, "I'm perfectly fine, I just wanna go home, man."

The doctor entered the room, a cheerful disposition evident in his demeanor. "Well, well, it looks like we have a patient eager to leave already," the doctor remarked, a light chuckle escaping his lips as he glanced at Damian.

Damian nodded eagerly, a small smile playing on his lips as he exchanged a glance with Asher. "Yes, please, doctor. I really want to go home now," Damian replied, his tone filled with a hint of urgency.

The doctor nodded, understanding Damian's wishes. With a few final checks and instructions, he gave the go-ahead for discharge. "Alright, everything looks good. You're free to go, Damian. Just make sure to follow up with your regular check-ups. And remember, you have a good friend like Asher looking out for you," the doctor said with a smile, gesturing towards Asher.

With a mischievous glint in his eye, Aiden leaned in and whispered to the doctor, his voice loud enough for both Damian and Asher to hear, "They like each other, my guy. Can you tell them to go out already?"

The doctor's brows raised in mild surprise at Aiden's comment, a faint chuckle escaping him. He shot a knowing look at Damian and Asher, who exchanged puzzled glances before looking back at Aiden with a mixture of amusement and disbelief.

Damian's cheeks flushed a deep shade of pink, his face heating up at the teasing from Aiden. As his embarrassment grew, Asher couldn't help but smirk mischievously, a playful glint dancing in his eyes.

"Looks like Aiden's onto something, Damian," Asher teased, his smirk widening.

Damian's blush deepened at Asher's comment, feeling the warmth spread across his cheeks. He chuckled nervously, shooting a playful glare at Aiden. "Oh, come on, you guys. Let's focus on getting out of here," Damian replied, trying to steer the conversation away from his newfound embarrassment.

Aiden grinned cheekily, clearly enjoying the reaction he had provoked. "Alright, we can continue this at home."
