One week had officially passed for Aurora and Daisy, and a lot had happened to the two newbies. With the leftover money the girl earned from previous jobs, she had enough to purchase a dorm in Fairy Hills. From this, the girls all welcomed her and Daisy with a little housewarming party that the two enjoyed.
Unlike Wendy, Aurora wasn't too eager to take jobs as yet, especially since the Edolas incident, the after-effects left the child worn out. The only problem that occurred was that she needed money to continue living comfortably. Thankfully, just one incident turned out to be the easiest way to earn money.
A day ago, one of the members of Fairy Tail returned from a job with bad wounds. Aurora who she is, saw this and rushed to the member's aid.
"Excuse me" Aurora gained the attention of the rather buff male with snow-white hair.
"Oh, it's you. Aurora right?" The male's deep voice questioned.
"I am. I believe you are Elfman right?" The male nodded at her accurate guess. "I-um see that you are covered in wounds. It must hurt".
"These? Oh, it's nothing a real man can't handle!" The lad bellowed puffing out his muscular chest.
Aurora let out a small chuckle, "I see. Well, I hope this doesn't come off too weird but I'd really like to attend to the injuries! Just so it doesn't get infected."
Elfman thought for a moment before giving a small nod. He wanted to disagree but with the look in her eyes, he didn't have the heart to. He sat on one of the nearby chairs with a slight grunt from his injuries.
'I guess I did overdo it' He thought as he winced slightly.
The nature girl placed her hand over his chest, and soon a green aura glowed from her palms that soon spread to the rest of Elfman's body much to his surprise. The aura radiated so greatly that Aurora's braided hair moved with the motion. Even the guild members present stopped what they were doing just to bear witness to such great power.
After a minute or two, the green glow dispersed into particles that soon faded into the air.
"Feel better?" Aurora questioned giving him a soft smile.
Elfman stretched and realized that all his pain was gone, the injuries that littered his body were also gone and even the little things like body aches he'd get every so often, stiff neck, stiff joints. All of it vanished.
"I feel great! This is the manliest I've ever felt! I feel like going on another job!" Elfman hurriedly dug in his pocket before his large fingers grazed for what he was searching for and hastily pulled it out. "Thanks kid! Here's the share of the job I just took! You've earned it!"
Aurora was completely baffled at the brown bag-filled jewels that dangled in front of her. "Wh-what! Oh no! I couldn't possibly take that! You earned it fair and square! All I did was heal you" She tried to push away the money but Elfman wouldn't budge. He even moved her little hands to hold the bottom of the bag.
