During Liam's finals, nobody saw or heard from him. It was 3 weeks of absolute silence

Louis, Harry and John were used to it. Zayn, Niall and Zayn's parents weren't

Zayn couldn't get himself to write music the whole 3 weeks. He just held August and walked around with him

It was the beginning of the 4th week that Zayn got a call, he all but stumbled on his own 2 feet and fell as he answered

Liam apologised, saying during finals he keeps his phone off and just focuses on his studies

Zayn just listened as he laid on the floor with a smile

Niall took a photo, and sent it to Liam who saved it

After that, Liam said he'll be back in a week, just catching upto all the sleep he missed

Zayn simply said Ok, and Liam hung up

Zayn took a deep breath and closed his eyes

Niall nudged him then looked at August who blinked

"You see this?" August nodded "This is your baba being string cheese"

Zayn asked August to lay down beside him, covered his eyes and flipped Niall off before he mouthed a 'fuck you'

Niall just laughed, shook his head and walked out of the room

"Now... Time to stress myself out" Liam rolled his shoulder

John sipped his tea and read his book "No, it's actually time for you to relax until a week before your marks get released in 2 weeks"

Liam furrowed his brows "How did you do this 4 times?"

John flipped the page "I stayed home all the time, doing nothing but study"

Liam cringed "Is that why I have more memories with you than I do with Marie?"

John stopped then looked at Liam "Ask me that again after your graduation" He said then looked down

Liam furrowed his brows and frowned "Why?"

John rolled his shoulders "I don't want to lie to you"

"He says that and expects me to be just find with it?!" Liam said pacing front and back

"Just say the word and I'll go back to hating him"

Harry slapped Louis' shoulder "No!!"

Louis looked at Harry "It's his decision"

Harry sighed "I'm all for defending Liam, but we should also respect John's decision... We don't know why he said after Liam's graduation, Maybe he'll be more ready by then"

Liam gave Harry the smile "Always the smartest one of us..."

Harry smiled "In some aspects"

"What are you planning on doing?" Louis whispered

Liam looked at him and took a deep breath "Something that will probably make my dad disown me..."

Louis hummed and smiled "Can I join?" Liam shrugged "What do you plan on doing?"

Liam took a deep breath "I'm going to Marie..."
