The breakfast banter continued, and Kabir's mother, Naina, addressing the family, reminded them about the grand event scheduled for today in evening. "Don't forget, everyone, we have the grand event to attend in evening. It's a rare occasion, and we must be there together as a family."

While Kabir was engrossed in his phone, his mother asked, "Kabir, is everything okay? You seem a bit preoccupied."

Quickly regaining composure, Kabir replied, "Oh, it's nothing, Mom. I just have some work to catch up on. I might not be able to make it to the event."

Preeti chimed in, "Come on Bhai, you can't skip this one. It will be fun!"

Forcing a smile, Kabir said, "I know, Preeti, but I'll try my best. Can't promise anything, though."

As the family delved into discussions about the upcoming event, Kabir seized the opportunity to check his phone. Confirming the time of his mysterious plans, he discreetly ensured everything was in order.

Unbeknownst to anyone, Sia was about to receive a call that would alter the course of her day.

Sia sat in a boring class, not caring much about what the teacher was talking about. To make the time pass, she started drawing little designs in the edges of her notebook—a small way to fight against the classroom boredom.

In the middle of her doodling session, Sia's phone buzzed quietly, breaking the silence in the lecture hall. Sneaking a peek at the screen, she saw a call coming in, but following the class rules, she couldn't answer. The wait for the lecture to end felt like forever, each passing minute adding to her growing anticipation.

As the professor concluded the class and her classmates began packing their belongings, Sia couldn't wait any longer. She quickly grabbed her phone, eager to return the call. However, she wasn't very excited about it. There was a feeling of duty, but also a bit of hesitation.

It was a call from her grandpa, Mr. Rajpal Raghunath. Knowing that he rarely called unless it was something important, Sia sensed that there must be a matter demanding her attention.

Sia hesitated for a moment before connecting the call to her grandpa, Mr. Rajpal Raghunath. "Um, Hello, Grandpa," she greeted cautiously.

"Ah, Sia," came the measured response. "I trust I'm not interrupting anything important. I find myself in town, and there's a matter of significance I need to discuss with you. Can we meet?"

Knowing she wanted to attend her next lecture, Sia sighed internally. However, she also understood that denying her grandpa's request wasn't an option. His calls always held a certain gravity, making it hard for her to say no.

Sia, aware of her grandpa's reserved nature, replied, "Certainly, Grandpa. I'm available. Where would you like to meet?"

He suggested a quiet place, and they settled on a time. As the call ended, Sia couldn't help but feel a twinge of apprehension. Conversations with her grandpa were often laden with formality, lacking the warmth.

As the time drew closer to their meeting, Sia thought about what her grandpa wanted to talk about. His serious and reserved way of talking always made it hard for her to figure out what he was really thinking. The distance in their relationship felt more noticeable, and the upcoming talk brought a sense of uncertainty.

Expecting the usual emotional complications in their talks, Sia prepared herself to handle the complicated aspects that shaped her relationship with her reserved grandpa.

Sia, in the midst of preparing for the meeting with her stoic grandpa, found herself caught in the delicate dance of choosing the right attire and mentally rehearsing potential discussions. Meanwhile, in another corner of the city, the Singhania family bustled with activity as they readied themselves for a family event.

Baldev sat in the living room, waiting for the rest of the family to gather before heading to the event together. Preeti, his granddaughter, joined him with a bag of chips.

"Dadu, what time is the event? No one else seems ready. Will we make it?" Preeti asked with a mouthful of chips, her words slightly muffled.

Baldev chuckled at Preeti's enthusiasm, noticing her mouth full of chips. "Well, my dear, we might be a bit late, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Gives us some quality time together, doesn't it?"

"No more waiting, we're here!" announced Sushmita, accompanied by Raj and Naina. "Bhaiyya is coming with ma, let's get seated in the car, and they'll join us," she suggested.

Arjun added a touch of drama, saying, "No one remembers this silent cute little boy."

Preeti, with a playful twinkle in her eye, retorted, "Well, Arjun, maybe if you spoke a bit more and were less cute, people would notice!"

Arjun responded, "Objection, Your Honor! My cuteness is an essential part of my charm. If I start talking more, it might overshadow everything else."

The family chuckled at Arjun's theatrical response. He then shifted the conversation, "By the way, is Kabir bhai joining us, or is he off to some mysterious business meeting again?"

Naina chimed in, "No, he's not joining us this time. We should start moving if we don't want to be late." Vijay and Shanti joined them, and the family began to make their way towards the car, ready for the event ahead.

While the Singhania clan was gearing up for a lively family event, Sia, on the other hand, found herself at her own unique event venue—the much-anticipated " Discussion with Grandpa Show," complete with its own set of quirks and the distinct lack of a red carpet. For Sia it was more of a solo performance with her stoic grandpa, featuring the riveting dialogue of "How's life?" and "Do you eat well?" amidst the city's ordinary hum.

Sia located her grandpa sitting in a quiet corner, distanced from the chaos that often disrupted his peace, true to his usual demeanor , she approached him and sought his blessings by touching his feet. As her grandpa inquired about her well-being with the customary "How is life?" Sia responded with the standard assurance that she was doing fine.

An awkward silence lingered between them until Rajpal broke the it with a thoughtful expression. "Sia," he began, "the matter I wish to discuss holds great significance, and that's why I wanted to meet you personally." Sia, observing his expression, remained silent, trying to decipher the gravity behind his words.

Rajpal, choosing his words carefully, said, "It's about your future, about your marriage. "

The room, once buzzing with voices, fell silent. As a loud gasp spread through the air. In the quiet, a strong "WHAT?" broke the silence.
