"Who wants wine?" I questioned holding up the gift bag.
"Me." Someone responded in the distance.
As my gaze shifted to him my expression stiffened slightly.
Jason and steven are friends.
"Steven." I voiced looking at him surprised.
"Who's Steven?" Jason questioned turning to look who I'm talking to.
"Him." I pointed.
"Oh, so yuh still a use the fake name weh mi give yuh inna college?" Jason laughed as he put his hand around my waist.
"Sometimes." Steven smirked.
"Nars a Mateo him name, a him mi did go do the job fah dah time deh." Jason said aloud as everyone else basically minded their business.
Which I was grateful for because mi did lowkey embarrassased.
"So how did Y'all meet?" Jason questioned seriously.
I really hope that this doesn't turn into anything more than it is.
"I met him at the beach once, the rasta man did a bad mi up fi money to go on the beach and he payed for me." I said honestly. I don't see a reason to lie.
"Ohk." Jason said shaking his head as he moved to kiss my cheek.
"Let's go eat,we'll talk more later." He whispered in my ear as he let go of me and went to sit.

After Jason sat I followed ahead and sat beside him.
"So who ago seh prayer,bless the house?" Jason's friend kevin questioned looking around.
"I'll do it." A lady that I met earlier Elaine said as she gestured for us all to stand.
As we all stood,we held hands and bowed our head for prayer.
"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask for your blessing and protection over this home. We thank you for the shelter and safety that this house provides for both Jason here and his lovely wife Nars. We invite you into their home, Lord. May your presence fill every room of this house with peace, joy, and love. In Jesus name I pray.
