As the evening settled into a quiet calm, Yumi found herself sitting on her couch, enjoying her day off. Her phone propped up on the coffee table in front of her as she waited for Joshua's FaceTime call.
Her phone buzzed with an incoming call, and she eagerly accepted it, her heart skipping a beat as she saw him in his casual clothes and no makeup. "Hey Sweets!" he greeted, his voice warm and filled with affection.
"Joshy!" Yumi exclaimed, a wide smile spreading across her face at the sight of him. "We're matching" she said since both of them were wearing grey tank tops
Joshua chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "And you look better than me. Give me a twirl" he tease her "So, are you ready for the grand tour?"
"Show my your crib for the next days"
With a mischievous grin, Joshua held up his phone and began to give Yumi a virtual tour of his hotel room. "Don't mind the mess on Scoups side and he's at Wonwoo room right now. And here we have the luxurious minibar, stocked with all the essentials – snacks, drinks, and, of course, my favorite instant ramen."
"Instant Ramen? Fancy" she chuckled
Joshua winked playfully at her, his smile bright and infectious. "Only the best for an idol like me"
Yumi rolled her eyes in mock exasperation, her laughter filling the air with joy and warmth. "Oh, of course"
As they continued to banter and joke with each other, their laughter ringing out like music in the night, Yumi was smiling all the way . Despite the distance that separated them, moments like these made her feel closer to Joshua than ever before.
"So, how's your day ?" Joshua asked, his voice soft and filled with genuine interest.
Yumi shrugged nonchalantly, a playful smile playing on her lips. "Oh, you know. Just rocking the kitchen, cooking up a storm for all my adoring fans."
"Ah, the life of a celebrity chef. So glamorous." Joshua said chuckling
Yumi grinned back at him, her heart swelling with affection for him. "You know... I bet I have more fans than you"
"I'm your fan number one" he laughed looking at her with his soft eyes
As Joshua continued his virtual tour of his hotel room, he couldn't resist hamming it up for Yumi's entertainment. "And here we have the majestic bathroom, complete with a state-of-the-art shower and a never-ending supply of fluffy towels."
"Wow, Joshy . You should consider a career in hotel room tour guides."
"I'll keep that in mind. But only if you promise to be in the hotel room with me" he winked at her
Yumi feigned a gasp of mock "Oh, I don't know, Joshua. It's a tough job. I'll have to think about it.
Joshua's eyes sparkled with mischief as he leaned closer to the camera, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. "Come on, Yumi. I'll even throw in a complimentary chocolate"
Yumi burst into laughter at his ridiculous offer, her cheeks flushed with warmth. "Well, when you put it like that, how can I refuse?"
"You can't" he said "So, have you been keeping busy while I've been away?" Joshua asked, his voice soft and filled with genuine
"Oh, you know. Just causing trouble and wreaking everything wherever I go."
"I find that hard to believe,Sweets. You're practically an angel." Joshua raised an eyebrow in mock skepticism
"A live angel" she bate her eye lashes
"More like a live little minx"
"And you liiiiike this minx" she smiled " oh hi Scoups" she said seeing him walking in the room
"Oh hey, sorry. I forgot my phone and I need to call my girls" he said " sorry again"
As Scoups left the room, Joshua looked at Yumi and saw her yawn " tired?"
"A little" she said yawning again " or the super idol is boring" she teased him
"Wanna a lullaby to help you sleep?"
"That'll help" she lay in her bed and closed her eyes "turn off after I'm knock out"
