"Girl me waah go one party when exam done, Long time we nuh go out" said my friend jordyn.

She was my best friend and only friend.

She has been suggesting that we should go out because we haven't gone out since our exams.

"I think so too, I wanna be outside this summer", I agreed with her.

She suddenly stopped walking and looked at me with a shocked expression.

" what? " I asked her curious as to why she suddenly stopped.

She started walking again "nuhn, a when since house rat Alyssa waah go out?" she asked.

Laughing I responded, "I want to enjoy my teenage years, I wanna live a little".

" Mhm" is all she said as we continued our journey to the canteen to purchase our lunch.

Since my arrival at home I hopped in the shower, then after showering I ate my dinner.

I was just finishing my homework, it wasn't a lot because the teachers in sixth form only gave notes but my maths teacher Ms. Widdock just had to give us homework.

"How dis look?" My sister Alyana asked me pulling me from my train of thoughts.

she was showing me a black open back dress.

"Me and me fren dem a go one party lata" she responded to my question.

"Oh uh ask daddy?" I asked knowing he wasn't going to let her go because she is 'underage' his words not mine.

"Ago tell him seh me a go over nessa fi a sleep over" nessa was her best friend.

Not responding I wrote the last answer and closed my book placing it in my bag.

"Mia go roun a me room later" she then said.

"Alright later"

After she left I went on my phone and went straight to Instagram getting lost in the world of reels.

A notification then came in from jordyn sending me a post by bhadd._.barbz, I Tapped on it to see that it was a picture of a girl that didn't look so righteous.

Awa dt? A next message came in.

Laughing I responded "yk seh uh must stop it uh too awful🤣"

*incoming voice call from jordynnn.__*

I inwardly groaned, I hated calls but I decided to answer anyways.

*Call thread*

"Likkle girl uh cyaa type"

"No anyways,me
find one part fi we go"

"Where"

"Whitehall one boy from we school a keep it" .

"Next week Friday the poster say"

"We get time fi plan mn and school ago lock dem time deh, alright later."

"Yh later"

I continued to scroll on Instagram liking posts that I found interesting.

"Alyssa! Alyana! " my big brother Aiden shouted from downstairs

Heading downstairs curious as to why he was calling me I suddenly stopped when I spotted his two best friends at the end of the staircase.

Demarco and Alex.

They have been best friends since they were in basic school and over the years I kinda developed a crush for demarco, but I kept my feelings private because I wasn't sure if he felt the same way about me.

I turned around to ascend the stairs back to my room but demarco spotted me.

"Weh yaah run guh" He directed his question to me catching the attention of my brother and Alex.

Choosing not to answering I directed my attention to my brother "why did you call me?" I asked him.

My brother then told me that they would be staying for the weekend in which I glared at him.

Hearing footsteps behind me I turned to see Alyana Descending the stairs a frown on her face.

As soon as she spotted Alex her frown turned into a smile.

Me nuh know who dem a fool enuh God affi come dung come tell me seh dem nuh deh.

"Mia go inna me room" I told my brother leaving downstairs not feeling the need to be down there anymore.

As I was about to open my room someone called my name.

Turning around I spotted demarco making his way to me.
